For players who don’t know, The Big Bloom is a new seasonal event in the game.

During this event, you are tasked to collect and submit three different types of flowers while fending off against waves of enemies.

The event also introduces a new boss called Beezlebub, Giant Bee of Yore, a nuanced version of the Legendary Honey Beast along with its minions, the Beezlebabies.

With that said, here’s everything you need to know about The Big Bloom event in Fallout 76.

How to start The Big Bloom event in Fallout 76

To start The Big Bloom event, you must talk to the NPC named Black-Eyed Susan at Susan’s Cabin once the event is live.

In case you are a new player, The Big Bloom is a seasonal event and thus, it becomes active on a random basis on the hour.

Once the event is active, you must talk to Susan to start and complete the event.

Susan’s Cabin is located east of the Hemlock Springs Dump at the location I marked in the above map screenshot.

Head there once the event is active and you will find Black-Eyed Susan roaming around her hut or sitting on the chair near the entrance.

Talk to her.

Select the dialogue option, “You look like you could use some help.”

After that, select, “Sure, can do.”

Doing so will start The Big Bloom event.

Fallout 76 The Big Bloom event walkthrough

The Big Bloom event has four major and one minor steps that you must do to complete the event. These are:

  1. Collect 30 flowers of each type:
    • Crystalcups
    • Radlilies
    • Carnal Weepers
  2. Deposit the collected flowers in Black-Eyed Susan’s basket.
  3. Set 25 Overgrown on fire.
  4. Investigate the disturbance in the meadow.
  5. Defeat Beezlebub, Giant Bee of Yore.

To make things easier for you, I’ve explained how you can complete each step below:

Collect and place flowers

You can find all three flowers around Susan’s cabin. They spawn within the encircled area as seen in the above screenshot.

The Crystalcup flower is blue in color.

The Carnal Weeper are the red ones.

The Radilily are the yellow ones.

I recommend searching in the northern end of the search area as all three spawn close to each other.

Moreover, you can collect them from the same spot as they grow back once you collect them.

Deposit the collected flowers in Black-Eyed Susan’s basket

Once you have collected the flowers, you can deposit them in the Flower Basket located left of Susan’s Cabin’s entrance, as you can see in the above screenshot.

Set 25 Overgrown on fire

In this part of the event, you must burn down the Overgrown enemies that spawn around the event area.

You can use any flame-based weapon or throwable to complete the task.

If you don’t have any, head to the roof of Susan’s Cabin.

There you will find the Boom Box. Interact with it to collect Weed Killer throwable, which is nothing but a Molotov with a fancy name.

Investigate the disturbance in the meadow

This is the easiest part of the event as all you have to do is wait for 20 seconds.

Defeat Beezlebub, Giant Bee of Yore

Beezlebub spawns in the open area that I have marked in the above screenshot.

Kill the boss. Or, at least make sure to deal decent damage.

Defeating Beezlebub will complete the event. [Tip: Don’t forget to loot the boss’s body for an additional Legendary.]
