As you make your way towards Ashwood from the Janus Towers Plaza, there’s a Sheriff’s Office that you can find there.
After you activate the Power Pump in the area and flip the nearby Switch to get access to the Pack-A-Punch machine, you will hear a mysterious voice.
When you make your way inside the Ashwood Sheriff’s Office, you will find a Klaus locked in one of the cells.
He plays a key role in completing the easter egg, so you must know where to find him, how to free Klaus, and where to use him next.

Black Ops 7 Ashes of the Damned Ashwood Sheriff’s Office and Klaus Prisoner location
In Ashes of the Damned, you can find the Sheriff’s Office at the above player icon location.
Make your way there and you will be able to spot the signboard as you can see in the above screenshot.
Head inside, and you will find Klaus tied to a chair, mumbling something.
In case he is not there, it means you haven’t yet activated the Pack-A-Punch Machine.

How to free the Klaus Prisoner inside the Sheriff’s Office in the Ashes of the Damned map in Black Ops 7 Zombies
To free Klaus from the Ashwood Prison Cell, you must make sure the console in the cell is powered on and emitting a beeping sound.
For it, you must spawn and defeat the Uber Klaus to get the Stabilizer Chip. [Check the linked guide for more details. ]
After that, you need a Stun Grenade to bring him back to his senses and free him.
You can craft the Stun Grenade at any Crafting Bench via the Tactical Menu for 250 Scraps.
Or you can find them as regular drops or start with it. You need at least three Stuns.
The Ashwood Crafting Bench is inside the Yummy Freeze Ice Cream building.
I recommend crafting 4 Stun Grenades.
Once you have it, make your way back to the Sheriff’s Office.
Now, throw all Stun Grenades at Klaus in quick succession.
If you do it correctly, stars will appear on top of his head, and he will free himself.
Once freed, he will move to the left of the Ashwood Sheriff’s Building.
After that, the person who freed him can assign him to any location.
What to do after freeing Klaus from the Sheriff’s Office in the Ashes of the Damned map in Black Ops 7 Zombies
To use Klaus, you must take him to Zarya Cosmodrome and make your way inside the Support Systems room.
There, you will find a Canister behind a glass door. Next to it is a panel.
Move Klaus in front of the panel, and he will power it up or do his thing.
After that, interact with the panel and stand in front of the glass as a red scanner will scan it.
If you fail this, you must progress the round.
Collect the Aether Barrel.
