Whether you are looking to get some new mounts in Where Winds Meet or want to know how to summon your mount to travel around the game’s open world faster, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
Where Winds Meet offers a massive open world that you mainly travel on foot, via fast travel points that you unlock as you explore the game, via Mounts and later, through Lightness Skill.
In the early to mid-game, you will be mostly using the fast travel points and your mount to get from one location to another.
And while you get access to mounts at the beginning of the game, it is quite easy to miss out, and the overwhelming UI also makes it hard to understand how to use your mounts.
I struggled for some time, and I know some other players will too. And that is why, I am here with this guide.
How to unlock Mounts in Where Winds Meet

You unlock the Mount System in Where Winds Meet by finishing the main quest, For Whom Does He Return.
It is the final quest in the Chapter One: Heaven Has No Pier questline.
Once you complete it, you will get a pop-up on the left side stating that the Mount System is now unlocked.

There are multiple ways to get Mounts in Where Winds Meet. You mainly obtain them from the Mounts shop and via Gacha Draw.

Horse Merchant

Other than that, you can also buy Horse via the Horse Merchant NPCs, one you can find early on near Firesteed Hamlet.

Taming Wild Horses and Stealing

You can also catch and tame Wild Horses found in the open world to either use as Mounts or sell them for Coins at the Horse Merchant.
Lastly, you can also steal Horses from the NPCs that you come across as you explore the game’s map.
