Located in the southwest part of the Ember Strands region of the Nalcott Island, Ashenton is a huge delipidated city filled with multiple explorable and scalable structures.
The entire area is crawling with elite and regular enemies, and the dangerous lava that flows within the city makes it even more dangerous.
Moreover, since it is a huge area, finding the Mystical Crate along with the Gear and Weapon Crates is challenging.
In addition, the area holds many secrets, such as a hidden Mystical Crate, extra Gear and Weapon Crates, a Scenic Viewpoint, and a ton of Supply Crates.
So, to ensure you can get everything Ashenton offers while completing the associated Settlement quest, I am here with a detailed walkthrough of the entire area.
It covers the Ashenton Mystical Crate location in Once Human and everything else it offers.
Once Human Ashenton Settlement walkthrough

The Settlement Exploration quest at Ashenton requires players to meet the following objectives:
- Defeat normal enemies (0/12)
- Look for Mystical Crate (0/1)
- Find Weapon and Armor Crates (0/2)
- Activate Rift Anchors (0/2)
Apart from the two Rift Anchors, the Settlement Exploration quest is identical to others.
As usual, completing the first objective of defeating normal enemies is easy. As I mentioned earlier, they spawn all around the area.

That being said, before I share the location of the Crates required for the Settlement Exploration quest, here are the additional things you can find at Ashenton:
- Extra Gear Crate
- Extra Weapon Crate
- Hidden Mystical Crate
- A ton of Supply Crates
- New Elite Enemies: Orderkeeper and Luna Moth
- Blacked out Baloon Enemies to farm Gazocchio Deviant
With all that being out of the way, here’s the complete walkthrough of the Ashenton area:
Once Human Ashenton Rift Anchor locations
You can find two Rift Anchors at the Ashenton POI in the Ember Strands regions.
Rift Anchor 1 location

The first Rift Anchor is located in the eastern part of Ashenton, on top of a large building.

Head to the marked location and make your way to the roof of the building shown in the above screenshot.
You can take the stairs inside the building or use a double jump, Updraft device, or Spring Legs to reach the roof.

Once you are at the Rift Anchor location, interact with it to activate it and progress the objective.
Rift Anchor 2 location

The second Rift Anchor is located in the southwest part of Ashenton, where you will find most of the Crates and loot.
Head to the coordinates -6395, 4612, and you will find the second Rift Anchor.

The second Rift Anchor is on top of the delipidated building shown in the above screenshot.
You can use the Ziplines and ladders to climb up. However, I prefer using double jump or Spring Legs as the Ziplines are bugged and so do, some of the ladders.

Once at the top, activate the second Rift Anchor to complete the objective, “Activate Rift Anchors (0/2).”
Once Human Ashenton Gear Crate locations
In Ashenton, I found two Gear Crates. Here’s the location of both of them:
Gear Crate 1 location

The first Gear Crate is located at the coordinates -6203, 4704.

It is on the other side of the same roof where you activated the first Rift Anchor.
Gear Crate 2 location

You can find the second Gear Crate at Ashenton at the coordinates -6465, 4739.

To reach there, from the second Rift Anchor building, glide towards the Summer Kitty building as shown in the above screenshot.

Make your way to the other end of the floor with the Brun & Perez Shop. Right next to it, you will find the Fashions Shop.

Enter the Fashions Shop, and you will find the second Gear Crate on a clothing rack.
Once Human Ashenton Weapon Crate locations
Upon thoroughly exploring the area, I found two Weapon Crates similar to the Gear Crates.
Weapon Crate 1 location

The first Weapon Crate at Ashenton is found at the coordinates -6401, 4804.

To reach there, first, make your way to the tallest building, as shown in the above screenshot, in the northern part of the POI.

Take the elevator on the ground floor to reach the building’s roof. Once there, go outside.

Take the Zipline to the next building as shown above.

You will find the Weapon Crate on the ground along with a few Supply Crates.
Weapon Crate 2 location

The second Weapon Crate at Ashenton is found at the coordinates -6501, 4755.

It is on top of a bus found on the delipidated highway in the western part of Ashenton.
Once Human Ashenton’s hidden Mystical Crate location

The hidden Mystical Crate is locked behind the usual “follow the blue glimmer” puzzle you can find at the coordinates -6395, 4659.

It is on top of one of the RVs, which you can easily reach from the roof of the second Rift Anchor or through the ground.

Follow the glimmer two times and it will spawn the hidden Mystical Crate on the third RV.
Once Human Ashenton Scenic Viewpoint location

The Scenic Viewpoint at the Ashenton POI in Once Human is found at the coordinates -6282, 4722.

It is in front of the maze near the first Rift Anchor location. Head to the above coordinates to see it.

As always, interacting with the Scenic Viewpoint will reward you with 200 Starchrom.
Once Human Ashenton Mystical Crate location

The main Mystical Crate is located at the coordinates -6361, 4625.

You can find it on the edge of the second floor of the building, located next to the second Rift Anchor building as you can see in the above screenshot.

Glide to the Mystical Crate and interact with it.
