The Royale Horn Bow is one of the most iconic weapons and the first bow in Lies of P added with the Overture DLC.

The bow comes in handy in taking out enemies from a distance and also in dealing with multiple enemies at once.

It is a powerful weapon that you can use as your secondary or even create a build around it as it deals good damage and is very quick to use.

The Fable Arts of the Royal Horn Bow not only looks cool to perform, but it also deals massive damage while proc’ing stagger to enemies.

Lies of P Overture Royal Horn Bow stats and scaling

The Royal Horn Bow is surprisingly a Dagger-type weapon that weighs 7.4 kg, has a durability of 84, and is a whole weapon that cannot be disassembled.

The weapon primarily scales with Technique with the sub-scaling being Motivity.

Here are the base stats for the Royal Horn Bow in Lies of P:

  • Physical ATK: 75
  • Charge Pulse Cells: 9.6
  • Fable Charge: 599
  • Technique: B
  • Motivity: D

Royal Horn Bow Fable Arts

The weapon comes with two Fable Arts like most weapons in Lies of P. These are:

Dodge Shot

Quickly retreat backward, then fire an arrow at enemies in front of you.

Hold down the attack button to increase the arrow’s power.

Patient Shot

Gather your strength to shoot a powerful Ergo arrow.

The fired arrow will pierce and attack enemies.

Hold down the attack button to activate a stronger attack.

Lies of P Overture Royal Horn Bow upgrade materials

You can upgrade the Royal Horn Bow at Eugenie in Hotel Krat’s safe zone.

Since it is a special weapon, it requires more rare Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant materials.

Here’s a look at all Royal Horn Bow upgrades and the materials cost:

  • Upgrade 1: Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant x1
  • Upgrade 2: Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant x2
  • Upgrade 3: Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant x4
  • Upgrade 4: Full Moonstone of the Covenant x1
  • Upgrade 5: Full Moonstone of the Covenant x2

Apart from that, you can also change the scaling of the Royal Horn Bow at Eugenie using the different Crank Handles.

You find the Crank Handles across the game and they are also available for purchase at certain NPC vendors.

Where to find Royal Horn Bow in Lies of P Overture DLC

In Overture DLC, you can find the Royal Horn Bow inside a chest in the Hall of Adventure.

To reach it’s location, teleport to the Hall of Adventure Stargazer and take the stairs on the right side.

Once you are on the first floor, take a sharp right and follow the path until the end of the balcony.

On the left side, you will find a room. Head inside, take out the enemies.

Now, go through the hall whose entrance is on the right side.

Be prepared as two mini brute-type enemies ambush you.

At the end of the hall, you will find a ladder that you can reach the ground floor.

Take it and defeat the elite chimera enemy.

Now, take the stairs and follow the path on the right side.

On the left, you will find a room with two enemies.

Defeat them and exit through the door on the right.

On the floor, you will find the chest holding the Royal Horn Bow.
