If you are looking to complete the Prelude to the Journey Milestone, “Healing Gigantrite’s Wounds,” “The Little Friend in the Sky” Exploration quest, or any other such thing in the game, you must know Throne and Liberty Gigantrite location, spawn, how to get on top, how to heal and such other things.
For players who don’t know, Gigantrite is the giant whale that you see during the prologue.
It is one of the oldest mystical ancient species and the last surviving member connected to the flow of mana in Solisium.
The Gigantrites also provided vitality to creatures by circulating the flow of mana in nature while purifying dark energy.
The book On Divine Beast Gigantrite, found on the remote island southeast of the Spiral Cliff, provides more details on the creature.
The last surviving Gigantrite is also associated with many quests and challenges, including the Milestone, “Healing Gigantrite’s Wounds.”
So, if you are stuck with the Milestone and don’t know how to complete it, keep reading my how to heal Gigantrite wounds in Throne and Liberty guide.
Update: I have verified the details on Feb 18, 2025.
Throne and Liberty Gigantrite location

The Gigantrite can be found flying in the sky around the Starlight Observatory Ruins in the starting Laslan region.
If you don’t see the Gigantrite near the said area, the event is not yet active, and the Gigantrite has not yet spawned.
But don’t worry!

Left on your mini-map, you will find the ‘Content Schedule’ option, which you can open to check when Gigantrite will spawn.

As shown in the above screenshot, a small icon on the left of the mini-map shows a countdown timer for the Gigantrite spawn.
Once the timer ends, the Gigantrite will spawn!

Remember that after making a few rounds around the Starlight Observatory Ruins, the Gigantrite will head towards the other regions.
How to heal Gigantrite wounds in Throne and Liberty

In Throne and Liberty, you can heal Gigantrite’s wounds using Vitalstones while on top of the Gigantrite.
When you land the Gigantrite, you will find a pile of interactable rock on the front side.
Interacting with it heals the Gigantrite, but you can only do this if you have Vitalstones in your bag.
Whenever you heal the Gigantrite using the Vitalstones, you get different versions of Stellarite Element.
How to get Vitalstones

You can get Vitalstones from the Vitalstones Nodes that drop on the ground in the route that the Gigantrite takes once it spawns.
The cue that Vitalstones have dropped is whenever the Gigantrite groans, and blue sparkling light falls towards the ground.
How to get on top of the Gigantrite in Throne and Liberty

Whenever the Gigantrite spawns, head to the Starlight Observatory Ruins and wait for it to get closer.
You can climb the delipidated structure on both either sides of the tower using the grappling hook.

Once the Gigantrite is within reach, use Gliding Morph to land on it.
Throne and Liberty Healing Gigantrite’s Wounds Milestone

The Healing Gigantrite’s Wounds is a Milestone that takes the progress of the entire server into account.
To complete it, you must heal the Gigantrite‘s wound fifty times, requiring fifty Vitalstones.
But as I said earlier, since the entire server works towards the same goal, completing the Milestone is a lot easier than one might think.
Healing Gigantrite’s Wounds Milestone rewards

Here are the rewards that you get from completing the Healing Gigantrite’s Wounds Milestone in Throne and Liberty:
