The Admin Abuse War between the creators of the top two Roblox games of all time, Grow a Garden and Steal a Brainrot, crashed Roblox servers on August 23, 2025, a few minutes before the weekly update for these two games went live.
For players who don’t know, Grow a Garden’s developer, Jandel, has been able to pull off weekly admin weather events and such, bringing in a massive number of players while maintaining most of its player base.
Seeing that, the creator of Steal a Brainrot, Sammy Spider, jumped on the bandwagon and started his own weekly admin abuse events for his game that even surpassed Grow a Garden’s CCU.
As a result, the Roblox community was divided, with some started questioning whether Jandel was falling behind Sammy.
Seeing that, Jandel declared an official Admin Abuse War with Sammy.
The rules? Today, August 23, 2025:
For every 1m players more than Steal a Brainrot – I will donate $5k to Team Water
Sammy accepted the challenge. And the rest you already know.
The Roblox servers couldn’t handle it. The last time I checked, Grow a Garden had around 14.7 million CCU while Steal a Brainrot had around 7.8 million CCU.
Just checked. Here are the current numbers:

Update: Steal a Brainrot is now leading the war.

Jandel, the OG, seems to be winning this Admin Abuse War. Let’s see, by the end of the day, who wins. One thing that I know for certain is that Roblox executives are the real winners!
[Also, thanks to this Admin Abuse War, both Jandel and Sammy have managed to pull their highest CCU for their respective games.]
