99 Nights in the Forest is a survival game on the Roblox platform where, to win the game, you must survive in the forest for 99 nights or more.
As a survival game, it has mechanics like a hunger meter, a camp whose campfire that should never go off, enemies that attack you on certain days, and much more.
As simple as the game sounds, many players fail to survive in the game.
On the other hand, we have some new ones who don’t know what to do.
Seeing that, after surviving in the game as a solo, I created this 99 Nights in the Forest full walkthrough guide.

99 Nights in the Forest full walkthrough

To complete 99 Nights in the Forest, as the name suggests, you must survive for 99 nights.
While you can survive beyond 99 days, the main goal is 99 only.
Two things that help in clearing moving the number of nights faster are the multipliers that you can get via building different beds and saving kids lost in the forest.
In each game in 99 Nights in the Forest, there are four lost kids whom you can save. Each kid increases the day counter x2, and bed increases it by x1.

As soon as the game starts, your first goal is to chop down as many trees as you can.
As you do that, select the Old Sack and collect the wood.
Drag the Saplings near your camp and plant them around it.

The very first thing that you must craft is an Old Bed and a Map.
The Old Bed ensures you get the day multiplier before the first night.

On the other hand, crafting the map makes exploration a lot easier.

Once you are done, the next thing that you must craft is the Farm Plot.
Why?
Because it gives you access to six Carrots that you can use in an emergency to keep your hunger meter in check.
Make sure to do all this within the first day or at most the second night.

Once you have crafted the first three structures, it’s time to get the Crafting Bench upgrade.
Now, here comes the most important part.
To craft structures in 99 Nights in the Forest, you need:
- Wood: You can get wood by chopping down trees and submitting them in the grinder connected to the crafting bench.
- Scraps: You can get scraps from grinding items that have a screw icon on top of them. You can find these in abundance inside buildings, near crashed UFOs, open world, etc.
- The best spot to get a ton of scraps is near Crashed UFOs and the Mothership.
- Gems: You can get Gems by scrapping the pendants that the cultist drops when you kill them.
- For this, you don’t have to go anywhere as the cultist will attack your camp.
- You can take them out and grind the necklace to get Gems.

Check around your camp and get some scraps to get the Crafting Bench 2 upgrade.
While you are at it, make sure to collect and bring items with a flame icon on them.

They serve as fuel and can help you keep the campfire burning.
Once you get the first Crafting Bench upgrade, feed Wood or another source of Fuel to the Campfire until it reaches Level 3 or 4.

After that, you should focus on exploring the area, collecting Scraps, Wood, and Fuel.

Get the Crafting Bench 3 upgrade and craft a Regular Bed.

The next day or after that, the Trade will visit your camp.
You can submit him drops from Rabbit, Wolf, and Alpha Wolf (Wolf with red glowing eyes) to get Good Sack and Good Axe.
I recommend getting Good Sack first as it increases Bag’s capacity to 15.

After that, open your map and look for UFO icons.

Explore those to get Scraps fast and also to get your first reliable ranged or melee weapons.

Once you have the Ray Gun. Now, hunt for the first lost kid.
You must look for cave cave-like area with a locked door.
When you are near their location, you will hear their crying.

Their location also appears on the map if you have been through the area.
To save lost kids, you must head to their location, take down the five Wolves near the gates with red scarf-like items around their necks.

The last one drops a key that you can use to unlock the cage door.
Store the kid in your bag, head back to the camp, and take them out.
Assuming your Campfire Level is at least 4, you will be able to save around three kids as the map would have expanded enough.

Save at least two kids and then get the following items:
- Biofuel Processor
- Good Bed
- Crafting Bench 4
Now, hunt down as many wolves as you can and use the meat in the Biofuel Processor.

Use the produced Biofuel to upgrade the Campfire Level to 5.
Now, hunt for more resources.
Hoard two things at your camp:
- Fuel
- Food
You need emergency fuel because as you progress, it will start raining, burning the campfire quicker than usual.
If it goes out at night, you will be prone to getting attacked by the deer.
While you can stun him using the Flashlight that you get from Forest Watchtowers and Chests, it is best to keep your Campfire always burning.
Secondly, once the campfire is gone, getting back to your camp is difficult as the campfire icon will vanish.

Keep looting to better equip yourself with ranged and melee weapons.

Explore the Mothership that you can enter via downed UFO to get a ton of materials and gear, including high-level armor based on RNG.
Once you are inside Mothership, take out the aliens.
Use the giant one at the scanners to unlock the doors.
The final room holds a ton of scraps, items, and a chest that rewards you with armor or a weapon.

When the Cultists attack you, take out the Crossbow ones first.
If you keep running in circles while jumping, the cultists won’t be able to hit you.
The Ray Gun is best to take them out as it has infinite ammo and good damage with a high fire rate.
Just make sure to not overheat it.

Keep collecting resources.

Get the final Crafting Table upgrade and the Bed, and then find and explore the Castle for best loot and a ton of resources.

Along the way, save the last two kids to increase the days multiplier.
If you hoard enough Fuel, Food, and have the Ray Gun, you will be able to complete the game with ease, even without looking for the remaining kids.
Just survive 99 nights.
Once done, the cutscene will play out and you will finish the game.
