The Bakery is one of the side Leads in Atomfall that you can progress and complete to get some lucrative rewards.
It also gives you access to new Leads such as The Interchange Wyndham Village and Mother Jago.
Both of these help you towards your main objective.
Moreover, the Bedroom found on the first floor of the Bakery also holds a very important skill book called Consumables Manual.
It allows players to learn three new skills, two associated with consumables and one called the Blue Fingers, required for harvesting the blue plants and the mutated ones.

Where to find the Wyndham Village Bakery Bedroom Key in Atomfall
You can find the Wyndham Village Bakery Bedroom Key in the Old Forge Garage.
It is located at the above highlighted location at the following coordinates: 35.4E, 79.3N.
Once you arrive there, make your way towards the garage area.
Head inside.
Look on the right side, and you will find a wooden table with the Bakery Bedroom Key.
Collect it.
Next to it, you will find a document called “To Call Him A Monster.”
Collecting it will trigger the Bakery Lead side quest.
However, you can also trigger it by talking to Iris inside the Bakery.
How to get the Consumables Manual in Atomfall
There are two ways to get the Consumable Manuals in the game.
The first option is to collect it for free from the Bakery Bedroom where Iris has kept her mutated husband locked.
Secondly, bartering it with Billy at the Casterfell Woods Trading Outpost.
The latter option is not needed as to why barter when you can get it for free.
Head to the Bakery.
Take the stairs through the door behind Iris to reach the first floor.
Unlock the Bakery Bedroom using the key you obtained earlier.
Note: If you unlock the Bedroom without talking to Iris, her husband will still be inside.
He will start attacking you.
And if you kill him, Iris will start attacking you. [End of the Bakery quest.]
Instead, you can scroll down and check the Bakery quest walkthrough section to complete the quest and get the Consumables Manual.
Or you can just avoid killing Iris’s husband.
For the latter option, let him follow you.
Take him to the other room on the first floor.
Now run to the bedroom and collect the Consumables Manual.
Where to find Bakery Back Door Key in Atomfall
You can find the Bakery Back Door Key on the book shelf found right of the table with the Consumables Manual inside the bedroom.
Atomfall Bakery Lead quest complete walkthrough
To progress and complete the Bakery Lead in the game, you must talk to Iris.
Select the dialogue option, “No, I don’t work for the soldiers, don’t worry.”
After that, select “I found a letter that mentions your husband is ill…what happened to him?”
Iris will tell you about her husband and how he got infected.
Now, if you select the dialogue, “Do you know where the bunker is that your husband went to explore?”
You will learn the location of The Interchange Wyndham Village.
To progress the quest, you can choose the Sympathetic or Prying dialogue options.
Doing so, Iris will tell you about Mother Jago and how she might be able to help her husband with her tonic.
If you already have the Strange Tonic Recipe, you can select the option “I happen to have the recipe to make Mother Jago’s tonic.”
If you want to get on the good side of the Protocol Captain Sims, select the dialogue “If there’s something wrong with your husband, shouldn’t you let the soldiers know?”
And you can report Iris’s husband to Captain Sims.
Doing so will end the quest.
If you choose not to report and instead provide Iris with a Strange Tonic, to proceed, craft one.
To craft a Strange Tonic, you need:
- Spores x4
- Chemicals x1
- Glass x3
- Herbs x5
After you have crafted the Strange Tonic, give it to Iris.
She will tell you to come back after some time.
Now leave the area and the region and visit Iris after some time.
You will find that even though the Strange Tonic helped reduce the infection, her husband ran off.
Completing the quest.
Where to find Mother Jago in Atomfall
You can find Mother Jago in the Old Mine Ruins found in the northeast part of the Casterfell Woods.
Head to the above highlighted location and you will find her.
Mother Jaog’s quest is an important one that not only guides you toward the Strange Tonic but also sheds light on the game’s lore and her ending.
Where to find the Strange Tonic Recipe in Atomfall
If you are in a hurry, instead of following Mother Jago’s quest, you can directly head to the Castle Ruins and collect the Strange Tonic Recipe.
You will find the Strange Tonic Recipe in the same room where you find Mother Jago’s Book.
