Robotics is one of the areas in the Interchange where players can find some leads on the Signal Redirector.
For players who don’t know, the Signal Redirector is one of the main items that you need to redirect power to the central core after activating all the Data Store sites.
In short, you need it to complete the game.
That said, when you enter the Robotics area within the Interchange, you find two locked doors.
One is the Storage Room, and the other one is the Control Room, where you must head to power up the area to get another lead for the Signal Redirector.
So, if you are unable to find those keys, I am here to help.
How to unlock the Robotics area in Atomfall
You can unlock the Robotics area within the Interchange by powering up Data Store Delta.
Once you do, you will get the new Lead, Robotics.
With the area now being available to explore.
Where to find the Robotics Storage Room Key in Atomfall
The Robotics Storage Room key is found on a head scientist’s body in the Robot Assembly area.
To get it, enter the Robotics and go through the tunnel until you arrive at the main area.
From there, take the path on the right side to enter the Robots Assembly area.
Once you are in, pull the first level on the right side.
Doing so will drop a dead scientist’s body.
Search it, and you will find the Storage Room Key along with other items, including Chemicals x1 and Cloth x1.
Robotics Storage Room location
Right where you found the Robotics Storage Room Key, turn around and look up.
You will find the locked Storage Room.
Use the key to open the door and take the ladder to reach the Robotics Storage area.
There, you will find a Bard Crate with the following items:
- Pistol Ammo x3
- Antidote x1
- Training Stimulant x1
Apart from that, you also find the document “The Oberite Supply.”
One of the leads in the Robotics area that also sheds some light on the lore.
Where to find the Robotics Control Room Keycard in Atomfall
The Robotics Control Room Keycard is found in the Administration Room.
Head back to the Robotics entrance and follow the path ahead as I have marked in the above screenshot.
Take the stairs to reach the upper level.
As you can see, on the left side, you will find the Administration room.
The door will be locked, though.
So, to get inside, follow the hallway.
Take left at the end of the hallway and enter the Administration room from behind.
In the front wall, you will find an opening from where you can crawl through to reach the main Administration room.
On the table, you will find the Robotics Control Room Keycard.
Collect it!
Exit the room through the main gate and you will find the Control Room.
Use the Control Room Keycard to enter the room and press the button on the central console to power up the area.
Doing so will start an automated recording from the Chief Engineer, Frank Stevens, giving you a new lead on the Signal Redirector.
It will also activate one of the security robots in the main hall.
Before you exit the room, make sure to collect the BARD Crate for:
- Training Stimulant x1
- First Aid Kit x1
- Pistol Ammo x3
