If you are looking to complete the Ashes of the Damned map main quest easter egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies but don’t know where to start, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
Ashes of the Damned is the first big map available at launch in Black Ops 7 Zombies, consisting of six major POIs. These are:
- Janus Towers Plaza
- Vandorn Farm
- Blackwater Lake
- Ashwood
- Exit 115
- Zarya Cosmodrome
Each of the above areas is large and filled with side easter eggs, hidden intel, and secrets, while also serving a key role in the main quest easter egg.
That said, similar to the past Zombies quests, the Ashes of the Damned main quest easter egg is filled with multiple steps with no clues or hints.
As a result, many players struggle to complete it as they don’t know what they are looking for, all the steps in Ashes of the Damned main quest, the best way to complete them, etc.
This is where my walkthrough guide comes in handy as I lay out all the steps while talking about how you can complete them and the best order, along with other FAQs.
Black Ops 7 Zombies Ashes of the Damned main quest easter egg rewards
Here are all the rewards that you can get if you complete the Ashes of the Damned main quest easter egg before directed mode arrives:
- OORAH! Operator skin
- 10,000 XP rewards
- Unique Calling Card variant and more!
Other than that, there are also a ton of Trophies and achievements associated with Ashes of the Damned and the Zombies in general.
The Cursed Mode also holds some of the best rewards on offer “for those brave (or deranged) enough to complete Ashed of the Damned in Cursed Tier I, II, and III Modes!”

Black Ops 7 Ahses of the Damned main quest walkthrough
You start the game at Janus Tower Plaza. From the spawn location, head to the building on the left side. To the Server Room.
There, on the ground, you will find a panel. Crouch and perform a melee attack.
Collect T.E.D.D’S HEAD.
Head back to the Plaza and place the Head onto Tessie. The car.
From the Janus Towers Plaza, there are two paths to take. One leads to Vandorn Farm while the other leads to Black Water Lake.
Choose whatever POI you want to unlock next. I prefer Black Water Lake as I am tired of Vandorn Farm. Lol.
Once you arrive at Blackwater Lake, make your way towards the Infested Power Pump and shoot the lumps within the given time.
If you do it correctly, the main quest will progress and you will get the objective to “Flip the Power Switch” found on the first floor of the nearby cabin.
Make your way inside the cabin and to the first floor. Flip the switch.
Now, head back to Tessie and drive towards Ashwood. Your next destination.
Park Tessie near the Bladesmith Uprade building and make your way towards the bridge in the middle of Ashwood.
There are two paths you can take to reach it. Both cost the same amount of Essence. So choose whatever path you like.
In the middle of the bridge, you will find another Power Pump.
Once again, shoot at the pores within the given time.
Flip the switch, and you will be good to go.
Now, make your way back to Tessie. You will see the locked door to Bladesmith Uprade is now open.
Park the Tessie inside.
On the right side of the room, you will find the Pack-A-Punch upgrade for Tessie. Get it.
