If you want to get your hands on a legendary shock pistol in the early game in Avowed, I’ve got the best pick for you—the Caeroc’s Pride.
While Avowed’s open world is not that big, there are multiple maps with a ton of locations, ready to be explored for challenges, loot, and such things.
In fact, right after the first quest, Of Strange Shores, when you arrive in the Dawnshores area, you can get a ton of legendary equipment early game even without progressing the main story.
One of the Unqiues that I personally like and recommend to players is the Caeroc’s Pride shock pistols.
It not only boasts a very good base stat, but as a Unique, it also comes with added bonus effects.
These are: Distant Thunder and Shocking Lash.
These effects allow you to deal Shock Damage to enemies and accumulate it on an enemy or in an AoE.
You can further enchant and upgrade the weapon to improve its quality and overall efficiency, may it be damage, stamina cost, or such things.
But before that, you must know where to find the Caeroc’s Pride.

How to get Caeroc’s Pride pistol
You can get the Caeroc’s Pride Unique rarity pistol as a drop loot from the Tempestuous Luandi boss.
Avowed Tempestuous Luandi boss and bounty location
You can find Tempestuous Luandi boss on the isle located between Shanty Town and Castolls Folly.
To make things easier for you, I have encircled the exact location in the above map screenshot.
Teleport to the nearest waypoint and make your way to the shores.
When you arrive near the docs, the isle is visible and you can also see a few enemies on them from afar.
Since it is an easy game pick, most of you might be under-level with low-quality equipment.
You will get a warning pop-up about Equipment Quality when you approach the boss.
Don’t worry! Skip it and fight the boss.
I recommend taking out the mobs first as they are a nuisance and can cost you your life.
As for the boss!
Dodging sideways or staying out of his sight, attacking, and then going out of sight is a great way to easily take him out.
The elevated rocks on the isle are a good area to fight him.
Once you defeat the boss, search the pile of ash and you will get the following items:
- Luandi’s Glass Eye
- Caeroc’s Pride +2
- Forgotten Soul Pod
What to do with Luandi’s Glass Eye Bounty Trophy
Luandi’s Glass Eye is a quest item that you can turn in at the Paradis Bounty Master to get 500 Coins.
First, head to the marked location in Paradis as shown in the above map screenshot.
Once you arrive there, you will find a bounty board and the Bounty Master Aldrich.
Talk to him!
Select the dialogue option, “Way ahead of you. I’m ready to collect.”
Once you do that, you will get the option saying, “Tempestuous Luandi is dead.”
Select the dialogue option to remove Luandi’s Glass Eye from your inventory to complete the bounty and get the 500 Coins reward.
