Does Borderlands 4 support cross-platform, cross-save and cross-progression? Here’s the answer

If you plan on getting and hopping into Borderlands 4 but don’t know whether the game supports cross-platform play, cross-save, and cross-progression, I’ve got the official answers for you.

While not before, but now, players often expect multiplayer games to support cross-platform, cross-save, and cross-progression, as it gives players more freedom to play the game with anyone and on any platform without worrying about losing their progress.

Borderlands 4 is no exception, as it is one of the original co-op looter shooters that technically gave birth to the looter shooter genre.

Is there cross-platform support in Borderlands 4?

Yes! Borderlands 4 supports full cross-platform play.

So whether you are playing the game on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch 2, you will be able to play it with your friends who are on different platforms.

Is there cross-save support in Borderlands 4?

Sadly, at launch, Borderlands 4 will not feature cross-save support.

However, Gearbox has confirmed that it is on their radar, which means we may get the cross-save support post-launch through a small update.
