If you are looking for the best possible settings for Accessibility and the different Battle Assist options, Controls, and Graphics for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, I’m here to help.
As fun as playing Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is, some Controls and Accessibility settings infuriate the experience, making KIDS even rage quit during online battles.
Now, for those of you who have already been playing the game.
You know how difficult it is to perform transformation, fusion, character swap, and gameplay mechanics like Chase Change.
The selection between Classic and Standard controls with the ability to remap controls is most welcomed.
But not everything about the default settings in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is perfect.
That is why I prepared this handy guide, which shares the best Dragon Ball Sparking Zero settings.
Best graphics settings for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

When it comes to Graphics settings, there’s not much to talk about other than three things.
- Motion Blur
- Camera Shake
- HDR and Brightness
You don’t get to choose between Performance or Graphics modes, nor are there many options on consoles.
Even on a PC, adjusting the visuals as per your hardware is easy.

So, now returning to the three graphic settings I listed, for Motion Blur and Camera Shake, please turn it off until and unless you want a headache.
I have been playing with Camera Shake, and it is bearable!
But Motion Blur—not at all!
So, I recommend either going with a low Camera Shake or totally turning off the setting to ensure you are not visually affected during fights.

When it comes to HDR or SDR and brightness settings, keep HDR on, granted your screen supports it, as it makes the game look more visually appealing.
The default 50 brightness setting is good, but do keep in mind that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is full of explosions and such effects, so if you feel uneasy, you can lower that brightness setting slightly.
Best Accessibility and Battle Assist settings in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

The Accessibility and Battle Assist settings you see in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero are all meant for new players.
Some regular and seasoned players can use some of these, like the Recovery Assist, which makes recovering from Rush Attacks and such a lot easier.
Apart from that, the best setting for Accessibility for new players is to turn on the following:
- Combo Assist: On
- Follow-up Attack Assist: On
- Dragon Dash Assist: On
- Dragon Dash Attack Assist: On
- Recovery Assist: On
While new players can also turn on the Guard Assist and Revenge Counter Assist, remember that it will mess up specific defensive skills for you.
That is why I only recommend turning the above settings.

Once you are out of the handholding phase, PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO THESE SETTINGS:
- Recovery Assist: On
Rest all turned off. Having all the assists makes your character much more predictable.
It also messes up with inputs while performing certain mechanics.
Auto Revenge Counter Assist can drain your skill counts, and there are many more issues than benefits.
How to enable inverted controls

Players who like playing games with Inverted Controls can set it up using the ‘Controls & Camera’ options.
Change the following:
- Vertical Camera Controls: Inverted
- If you want to go up when you direct your analog towards down and vice versa
- Horizontal Camera Controls: Inverted
- If you want to go left when you direct your analog towards right and vice versa
Best controls settings for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

As I mentioned earlier, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero offers two different control styles, Standard and Classic, with the ability to change your key bindings.
I have a detailed comparison guide on Standard vs Classic controls in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Check it out for more details.
If you are using the Standard controls, there’s not much to change.
But if you are using Classic style, change the below setting:
- Directional Buttons: Standard
It allows you to change your characters, transform, and perform Fusion using your D-pad instead of the clumsy L3+R3, which hardly registers during battles.
