How to unlock the second Exospine slot in Stellar Blade
You can unlock the second Exospine slot by progressing and completing the main mission, Altess Levoire.
Once you complete the mission, head back to Xion and talk to Lily. And that is it.
How to upgrade Exospines in Stellar Blade
In Stellar Blade, you can upgrade Exospines via the Repair Console found at Camps that you can find at multiple locations in different regions and even in Xion.
To upgrade, head to the Repair Console and interact with it.
Doing so will open the EVE menu.
Navigate to the Exospine tab.
There, you will find all the Exospines you currently have.
Select the one that you want to upgrade and use the ‘Enhance’ button to upgrade.
Upgrading Exospines mostly requires Gold and the different varieties of Nano Elements.

- Increases Beta Energy recharged by 12%.
- Attack Power of Beta Skills increases by 12%.
- Successful Beta Skills hits have a chance to place you in a Trance. Beta Skills won’t consume Beta Energy in Trance Mode.
Burst Trance-Type Exospine
- Increases Max Burst Energy by 600.
- Increase Burst Skill Attack Power by 30%.
- Recharges Burst Energy by 50 when Combo Attacks at Level 4 or above are used.
Suppression Trance-Type Exospine
- Shield Penetration increases by 18%.
- Downed duration of enemies increases.
- Damage to Downed enemies increases by 18%
Chain-Type Exospine
- Increases Attack Power of Combo Attacks Level 2 or higher by 27%.
- Crit. Damage increases by 23%.
