Like every other region in the game, it offers a wide range of activities, such as bathing in Hot Springs to increase your HP, Bamboo Strikes to increase Focus, bounties, etc.

Below are the different Bamboo Strikes you will find in Ashoro Foothills in Ghost of Yotei:
Rikubetsu Bamboo Strike
The Rikubetsu Bamboo Strike is found in the Blooming Trails sub-region at the location marked above.
Head there, and you can spot it. During my run, when I interacted with the Bamboo Strike, there was a memory sequence between Atsu and Nagato.
Betsukai Bamboo Strike
The Betsukai Bamboo Strike is located at the marked location above between Shari Fields and Ashoro River.
This one is easy to complete and is out in the open.
