Not only that, it also added a plethora of new ghoul perk cards that open a lot of options for new builds.
These new ghoul perks also help in optimizing existing builds.
That said, while playing as a Ghoul has its perks as you don’t have to worry about diseases, radiation, and such things, it also comes with some understandable cons.
As a ghoul, without proper disguise, you won’t be able to interact with many key NPCs in the game.
Moreover, there is also the Feral Meter and such things to keep in check all the time.

In short, playing as a ghoul is not for everyone! As simple as that.
And while Bethesda is kind enough to let us revert to humans after becoming a ghoul, the process is kinda simple but hidden.
How to revert to human after becoming Ghoul
In Fallout 76, you can revert to human form after becoming a ghoul via the ‘Character’ menu.
Assuming you are already in the game, press the ESC button and then the ‘Z’ key or the respective button on your controller to open the in-game map and then the menu.
There, select the ‘Quit’ option.
Now, click on ‘Quit to main menu.’
Once you are on the main menu, select the ‘Character’ option.
If you open it for the first time after the Ghoul Within update, you will get a reversion warning message.
Press ‘Enter’ to continue.
Now, if you have multiple characters, the ones with a Radiation icon as you see in the above screenshot are ghoul characters.
Select the character whom you want to change back to human and press the ‘V’ key on your keyboard.
On Xbox and PlayStation, press the button that appears before the ‘REVERT TO HUMANITY’ option at the bottom.
Once you do, you get a final warning. Select ‘Yes’ to proceed.
That is it. Your character will revert to human form the next time you log into the game.
