Yeti Hunt is yet another returning Seasonal Event in GTA 5 Online that players can complete to unlock the Yeti Outfit.
Since spawning the Yeti involves finding specific clues many players don’t know about, I prepared this complete guide.
GTA Online Yeti Hunt 2026 walkthrough
To start the Yeti Hunt in GTA Online, you must head to the above marked location in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.
There are no level requirements or anything. So, even if you are a new player, you can complete this and unlock the Yeti Outfit.
Once you arrive there, a search area will appear on your mini-map.
You will also get the notification:
“Investigate the Chiliad wilderness ? to search for clues of an unknown creature. Put an end to its terror to earn a bonus reward.”
To complete the Yeti Hunt:
- You must find 5 Clues within the search area
- Once you find the last clue, the Yeti will spawn nearby
- Defeat the Yeti

GTA Online Yeti Hunt Clues location
Here are all five clues’ locations:
Clue 1
The first clue is found at the above marked location.
Head there, and on the left side of the road, you will find a crashed car near the drainage.
Go near it and investigate the torn shirt found on the ground.
Clue 2
The second clue is found at the above player icon location.
Head there, and you will find a bloodied tent. Investigate to progress.
Clue 3
The third clue is found near the riverbed at the above player icon location.
Go there, and you will find a dead deer.
Investigate the body to progress.
Clue 4
The fourth clue is found at the above marked location.
Head there and look for the fallen tree that you see in the above screenshot.
Go near and investigate to progress.
Clue 5
The final clue is found at the above player icon location.
Go there, and below the bridge, you will find another crashed car.
Investigate it.

How to defeat the Yeti in GTA Online
To defeat the Yeti, all you have to do is ‘SHOOT.’ The Yeti has a very high HP.
It can also lock you in an attack animation until you are dead.
Maintain distance and shoot. If he gets close, dodge or make a run until you are far enough. Keep shooting.
It takes three to four magazines of any regular weapon to defeat it.

The Yeti Hunt event rewards you with $50,000 and the Yeti Outfit.
