Practical uses aside, it is one of the coolest-looking free armors in the game that you can further customize using Shaders and Ornaments.

A look at Destiny 2’s Bushido armor pieces
Here’s a look at all five Bushido armor pieces in Destiny 2:

Keep in mind, the stats of the armor pieces are random.
However, just like before, you can increase them via armor mods.
Bushido armor set bonus
The Bushido armor set bonus is based around healing and reducing incoming damage based on the final blows that you deal with your weapons.
Here’s the two and four-piece bonus:
- 2-pieces: Final blows with freshly drawn or reloaded weapon heal you.
- 4-pieces: Bow, Shotgun, or Sword final blows temporarily reduce incoming damage. Damaging targets with those weapons extends the effect.
How to get the Bushido armor set in Destiny 2
You can get the complete Bushido armor set by completing the Exotic Mission: Encore in the Pinnacle activities section.
While Encore is an old activity, the reward has been refreshed, and now, when you complete it, you get the Bushido armor set and additional pieces.
To start the Encore mission, open the Director and head to the Pinnacle section.
Select and launch the Encore mission.
Once the mission starts, try to get a higher score for a higher grade for better rewards.
Aside from that, during my runs, I also found a Bushido Grips piece on the ground in the room highlighted in the above screenshot.
