Throne and Liberty features a variety of fishing rods of different rarities that players can use to catch fish around Solisium.

While players start with the Bamboo Fishing Rod, it is not the best for fishing activity, as catching fish using it isn’t easy and doesn’t offer any bonus.

That is the reason why players need the Epic rarity Kraken Fishing Rod or the Platinum Fishing Rod.

So, if you are more into fishing, it is highly recommended that you get one of these fishing rods.

With that said, here’s my guide on how to get the Purple Kraken and Platinum Fishing Rods in Throne and Liberty.

How to get the Epic Kraken Fishing Rod in Throne and Liberty

In Throne and Liberty, you can get the Epic rarity Purple Kraker Fishing Rod by sending your Amitoi for Expedition in the Daybreak Shores area.

The Kraken Fishing Rod is one of the potential drops from the Daybreak Shores Expedition Pouch.

Moreover, to send your Amitoi for Expedition in the Daybreak Shores, your Expedition Level, aka Expedition Team Level, must be 11.

So, getting the Kraken Fishing Rod not only depends on RNG, but there’s a decent grind before you can even take part in that RNG.
