The game features a full-fledged fishing activity where players can use different fishing rods and baits to catch fish in any water body.

Yes! Any water body. But that doesn’t mean all areas with water will yield the same fish.

There is a multitude of fish of different rarities that players can obtain from fishing.

The more your fishing level is and the better your fishing rod, the quicker you can catch fish.

But when it comes to catching rare fish and high-quality pouches that offer some of the best rewards that fishing activity can yield, you need the best fishing spot.

So, with that being out of the way, let us check out the best fishing spot in Throne and Liberty, as well as the basics of fishing.

Where is the best fishing spot in Throne and Liberty

In Throne and Liberty, the best fishing spot is the pier at the Saurodoma Island.

You can reach Saurodoma Island’s pier by swimming to the marked location and via the Gigantrite, granted you haven’t yet activated the Saurodoma Island Waypoint and want to do it.

Fishing at the water body around Saurodoma Island yields high-tier fish and is, in general, more rewarding than any other location.

But that comes with a cost of less capture rate.

I recommend using good bait to successfully catch high-tier fish at the Saurodoma Island pier or the surrounding waters.

Something like the Paste Bait you obtain from the Contract Coin Merchant will also do. It is better than the regular ones.

Your fishing level and the weather also affect the catch you get.

How to catch the Aurora Starfish

You can catch the Aurora Starfish by fishing at night time at the Saurdoma Island pier.

But since it is a conflict zone at night, choose a good spot where no other players can see you.

Some players are proud of killing players who are just minding their business and fishing and are hardly interested in PvP.

So avoid those PRO PLAYERS!

Another great fishing spot

Daybreak Shores is yet another great fishing spot in Throne and Liberty, where you can find some high-rarity fish and pouches.

How to fish in Throne and Liberty

To fish in Throne and Liberty, you need three things:

1. A fishing rod that you can obtain from activities or purchase from the Contract Coin Merchant
2. Fishing Bait that you can obtain from foraging and such things or purchase the Bait Box from the Contract Coin Merchant
3. A water body

Once you have a fishing rod and fishing bait, open your Inventory via the main menu and select and equip the fishing rod and the fishing bait.

After that, you can access the fishing rod from the quick menu. On the PS5, press ‘L2’; while holding it, press the ‘L3’ button to change the window.

Select the fishing rod from the quick menu, head to any water body, and press the ‘☐’ button or the respective key on other platforms to cast the line.

After that, use the direction analog stick (left stick on consoles) and the respective keys to pull the reel opposite the fish’s direction.

Make sure to let the reel loose for a second and then reel again to ensure a better capture rate.

Once the fish’s stamina meter depletes, you will catch the fish!
