How to unlock the crafting recipe for Abyssal Whip in RuneScape Dragonwilds
You can unlock the Abyssal Whip Mastercraft weapon by crafting the Smithing Anvil and defeating the Abyssal Demon boss.
Once you meet both criterias, the Abyssal Whip crafting recipe will be unlocked.
And, you can craft the weapon via the Mastercraft section of the Smithing Anvil.

How to unlock the Smithing Forge (Anvil) in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To unlock the Smithing Forge, aka the Anvil, you must craft a Bronze Bar using Copper and Tin Ores.
Once you collect your first Broze Bar, you will automatically unlock the Smithing Forge crafting recipe.
To craft one, you need:
- Bronze Bar x6
- Ash Log x20
- Coarse Thread x8
- Vault Core x1
Where to find Tin and Coppe Ores?
You can find Tin and Copper Ore deposits all around the Fractured Plane region.
The above marked spot is one of the best farming spots as it has both Copper and Tin deposits close to one another.
You can mine the ores using at least a Bone Pickaxe.
How to craft Abyssal Whip in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To craft the Abyssal Whip Mastercraft weapon, head to the Smithing Anvil and interact with it.
Make sure, you have the following crafting materials:
- Abyssal Spine x1
- Hard Leather x8
- Ram Horn x4
- Vault Shard x12
- Vault Core x1
You can get Vault Core and Vault Shards from the Vaults find all around the game’s map.
You can get the Hard Leather and the Abyssal Spine as a drop from the Abyssal Demon boss.
You can get Ram Horn as a drop from Rams found in the Stormtouched Highlands region.
Once you have the materials, select the Abyssal Whip and craft it.
It is a Power Level 4 weapon with a Special Skill.
How to get Ram Horn in RuneScape Dragonwilds
As I mentioned earlier, you can get Ram Horn as a drop from Ram that you can find in the Stormtouched Highlands region.
The above marked location is one of the best spawns, though you can find Ram all around the area.
Take out some Ram.
Collect the Ram Horn and other drop loot.
