The Abyssal Demon is one of the many open world bosses that you can find while exploring RuneScape Dragonwilds.
It is one of the few difficult boss fights that many early game players would struggle with.
Especially because of the surrounding area which slows down the character and also inflicts status damage.
While fighting the Abyssal Demon boss is completly optional, I recommend farming it as it drops materials required for crafting the Abyssal Whip weapon.
A special whip type weapon that old Runescape players would definitely remember.
Moreover, it also drops some other high level materials that you can use for crafting better gear and tools.

RuneScape Dragonwilds Abyssal Demon boss location
You can find the Abyssal Demon roaming around in the western part of the Whispering Swamp region.
He spawns within the encircled area in the swamps.
So make your way to the above marked location.
Once you arrive there, you will be easily able to spot the Abyssal Demon as he is big and hard to miss.

You can find another Abyssal Demon in the Bloodblight Swamp at the above marked location.
Head there and you will be able to easily spot it.

How to easily defeat the Abyssal Demon boss in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To easily defeat the Abyssal Demon, which we, in the gaming community also call CHEESE, all you need is a Bow and Arrows or a Staff.
Once you have that, head to the exact spot I have marked in the above map screenshot.
As you approach the location, you will find a delipidated building.
Use the Windstep skill to get on the broken roof.
Once you are on the roof, attack the Abyssal Demon.
Keep attacking the boss from the roof until its HP is 0.
The Abyssal Demon has melee and ground based attacks.
Thus, he won’t be able to reach you nor any of his attacks.
This is by far the most consistent cheese for the boss that early game players can use.
