For players who don’t know, Arc Raiders got its version 2.0 Frozen Trails major update on October 8, 2026, which added a brand-new snow map, Pendola Pass.
It also added new map conditions, Frigate & Redirection; new enemies, Bully, Skulker, Hydra; new weapons, Bantam and Stiletto; amplified weapons; and more.
With the update, the game also got a 4-day free access period where any player can download and play it. As a result, many new players are hopping into the game to play the new Frozen Trails map, aka Pendola Pass.
So keep reading as I share a quick and easy way to unlock and access the Pendola Pass map in Arc Raiders as a new player.
Unlocking and accessing the Pendola Pass map, aka the Frozen Trails new map
In Arc Raiders, to unlock the Frozen Trails Pendola Pass map, as a new player, you must play 25 matches.
As for accessing the Pendola Pass map, click on the ‘See Destinations’ button above the Squad section on the bottom right side of the game screen.
In the map window, you can find Pendola Pass in the top-right corner.
Click it, then click on the ‘Select Destination’ button. Then click Play.
To unlock the Pendola Pass map quickly, I recommend hopping into the Dam Battlegrounds map and dying to any Arc or other players.
Don’t take any weapon or item with you; your goal is to start a round and die as quickly as possible, since it counts toward the new map unlock progress.
Repeat it 25 times. After that, access and play Pendola Pass.
