If you are looking to upgrade your Max Health and Stamina, aka Endurance, in Where Winds Meet, I’ve got you covered with this Oddities guide.

Other than your Qi meter that you utilise for blocks and such things, your character in Where Winds Meet comes with a traditional stamina meter.

You consume stamina whenever you perform dash, movement skill, jumping, climbing, wall run, etc.

And since you need some of these movements during battle and a lot while exploring the open world, you must know how to upgrade your max Stamina.

Equally important is upgrading your max HP, as the higher it is, the more your chances of survivability.

So keep reading my guide as I explain how you can upgrade these two attributes in Where Winds Meet.

How to upgrade Max Endurance and Max Health stats in Where Winds Meet

You can upgrade your max Endurance, aka Stamina, and max Health, in Where Winds Meet via the Oddity Exchange NPC named Qi Sheng.

You can find Qi Sheng in the starting region of Qinghe between General’s Shrine and Bamboo Abode.

Here’s the exact location:

Head to his location and talk to him.

Select the ‘Submit Oddities’ option. Once done, you will find yourself in the Melodies of Peace menu.

There, you will find multiple nodes that you can gradually unlock by submitting Oddities to Qi Sheng.

These nodes upgrade your:

  1. Max HP
  2. Max Vitality
  3. Max Endurance
  4. Max Defense
  5. Max Physical Attack
  6. Min Physical Attack
  7. Damage dealt to certain monsters
  8. Drop rate of items
  9. New movement and martial skills, etc

So as you can see, as important as the Oddities NPC is, there’s a high chance you never talk to him and miss out on all these upgrades.

How to get Oddities in Where Winds Meet

You can find the different Oddities like the Ironwing Mantis, Enchanting Lotus, Redmist Beetle, Dagger General, Whisper Hive and others as you explore the game’s map.

Whenever you are near an Oddity, a dragonfly icon will appear on your mini-map. That is where you find the respective Oddity.

Head to the Oddity location, and based on its type, you must use different methods to collect them.

In the above screenshot, the Oddity is an Enchanting Lotus. To collect it, you must press and hold the ‘V’ key and use the blue trail to locate two groups of flying butterflies.

After you see them, shoot them with your bow. Doing so will allow you to collect the Oddity.

Collect the Enchanting Lotus.
