Whether you are a new or a returning player, if you want to know how to access the Fellhollow region in RuneScape Dragonwilds, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
Fellhollow is the third major region in RuneScape Dragonwilds added to the game via a free update that dropped on December 15.
Just like other regions, Fellhollow is massive and filled with POIs, hidden quests and challenges, as well as threats in the form of zombies, ghosts, lesser dragons, and others, all ruled over by Imaru, the Soul-Eater.
For players who don’t know, Imaru is a blue dragon infused with the wild anima and the cursed energy by drinking the River Noumenon from the Underworld.
Similar to the previous dragon that we fought during the Dragon Slayer quest, Imaru is one of Kuldra’s generals who serves as the main boss of the Fellhollow region.
That said, the Fellhollow region and the major update in general introduce a variety of new content in the game.
And that is why you must know how to access this new region.
How to access the Fellhollow region in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To access the Fellhollow region, you must complete the main story quest, Dragon Slayer.
Once that is done, a brand new Primary Quest called Withering Heights will automatically become active.
It is the main quest for the Fellhollow region. To start it, head to the quest marker found in the Fractured Plains northeast part.
Once you arrive there, talk to the Wise Old Man NPC and exhaust his dialogues.
After that, follow the path leading down, towards the Forgotten Temple.
Interact with the door and choose the dialogue option, “Mors, introitum, quaero!”
Doing so will start a cutscene and at the end of it, you will find yourself in the Forgotten Temple region.
Follow the main path until you reach the cathedral with Death sitting on the main throne.
Talk to him and exhaust his dialogues.
Once done, take the path on the right side.
Talk to the skull and exhaust all the dialogues.
Stand in the red mist pond until you eye meter is full.
Once done, interact with the portal leading to Fellhollow.
You will find yourself in Bleakfields Valley. And, the issue is that you will be in Soul-Rifted form, making ghost enemies spawn near you and hunt you down until you purify yourself.
To purify, head to the beam of light as you see in the above screenshot.
Attack the vines.
Interact with the vessel to purify your soul.
And that is it. Now, you are free to explore the Fellhollow region.
