Whether you are looking for the location of Goddard’s Art Supplies or want to learn how to start and complete her questline, my Lies of P Overture DLC Goddard The Blind Painter questline walkthrough covers it all.

Goddard is one of the new NPCs you meet in the Overture DLC, whose questlines you can follow and complete to earn some unique rewards.

At the same time, to learn more about the game’s lore and certain events.

Similar to Rosaura, Goddard’s questline has a few steps that you must complete in the correct order.

And while it is not as difficult as the ones we find in souls and souls-like games from FromSoftware, some players still find it hard to complete.

In the wake of that, I prepared this in-depth walkthrough for Goddard’s questline. So keep reading!

How to start Goddard The Blind Painter questline in Lies of P

To start Goddard’s questline in Lies of P Overture DLC, you must progress the game until you reach the Zoo Tram Station area via the Carnival Garden in Chapter 1.

Once you are at the Zoo Tram Station, look on the far end of the room and you will find Goddard sitting on a chair.

Talk to her to start her questline.

Once you talk to Goddard, the very first objective you get from her is to get her the painting on the ground.

Exhaust her dialogues.

Look on the ground and you will find the painting she is referring to.

Collect it.

After that, talk to Goddard and give her the painting.

Exhaust her dialogues.

At one point, she will ask you whether you are interested in listening to her story.

To progress her quest, select “Listen” option.

Once again, exhaust her dilaogues. She will ask you how her painting looks.

You will be given two choices to make:

  1. Incredible! It is a brilliant work of art.
  2. It is just a blank canvas.

Choosing “Incredible! It is a brilliant work of art.” will progress your Humanity level.

Once you choose any of the two options, make sure to exhaust all of her dialogues.

The next objective in her quest is to give her “Goddard’s Art Supplies” item.

Goddard’s Art Supplies location

You can find Goddard’s Art Supplies in the Elixir Research Zone area of the Underground Facility in Chapter 2.

Progress the game until you have access to the Elixir Research Zone Stargazer.

After that, teleport there and follow the path on the right side.

Go through the doors and take the first right.

It will lead you to a room with an item on a desk.

Collect it as it is the Goddard’s Art Supplies.

Now head back to Goddard at the Zoo Tram Station.

Talk to her and select the option “Give her the art supplies.”

She will give you a Dim Ergo Chunk as a reward.

Return to Goddard at the end of Chapter 4

Keep progressing the game until you reach the end of Chapter 4.

Once done, head back to the Zoo Tram Station.

You will find that Goddard is dead.

Interacting with her will give you two items:

  1. Painter’s Sky
  2. To the One Within the Darkness

Read the letter “To the One Within the Darkness.”

Doing so will reward you with “The Clear Blue Sky” music record.

Place the painting in Eventide Hotel Krat

Now head to Eventide Hotel Krat and go near the wall behind the sofa.

A cutscene will play out, and P will place Goddard’s Painting on the wall.

You can also play The Clear Blue Sky record via the Record Player left of the main reception area.

Finish the game – Epilogue

To sum up Goddard’s questline, finish the game and head to Hotel Krat (base game version.)

Head towards Goddard’s painting. A cutscene will play out.

At the end of it, you will get a text saying, “You feel warmth,” progressing your Humanity level.
