Don’t know which character you should play as in Mycopunk as a solo or co-op player? Worry not! In this Mycopunk character tier list for solo and co-op play, I rank all the current employees into different tiers while taking about their skills and more.
All characters and their skills in Mycopunk
There are currently four Employee in Mycopunk early access that you can select and play as. These are:
- Wrangler
- Bruiser
- Scrapper
- Glider
Wrangler
Wrangler is a highly agile character, in fact, the most agile and one of the best DPS characters.
His skills are:
- Rocket Lasso
- Throw a rocket-powered lasso that can pull objects or launch you forward.
- Air Dash
- Jump while airborne to dash forward.
Bruiser
The Bruiser is a tank, literally, whose skills make him a great support to have in your team.
His active skills are:
- Hard-Light Projector
- Project a shield that stuns enemies and reflects incoming projectiles.
- Nose Dive
- Jump while airborne to slam into the ground, emitting a shockwave that damages and launches nearby targets.
Scrapper
The Scrapper is an all-arounder character who also excels at support. His skills are:
- Grapple Pole
- Construct a tall pole that any ally can grapple to.
- Jetpack
- Hold jump to gain height
Glider
The Glider is yet another support healer who can also act as a good DPS.
- Rocket Salvo
- Lock on and fire a barrage of rockets that damage enemies and heal allies.
- Wingsuit
- Hold jump to activate your wingsuit jets and fly forward.
Mycopunk character tier list for solo
For solo play, the main factors that I have kept in mind while ranking the characters are survivability, DPS, movement, etc.

Mycopunk character tier list for co-op
For co-op play, I have ranked the characters based on a 2-player co-op experience.
Since there are only four characters at the moment, with the next one slated to arrive in Spring 2026, according to the Mycopunk official roadmap, there’s no point in ranking characters for 4-player co-op.

For 2-player team comps, I recommend pairing Wrangler and Scrapper, or Wrangler and Glider.
For 3-player, Wrangler, Glider, and Bruiser, or Wrangler, Scrapper, and Bruiser are your best choices.
