The Data Store Bravo is one of the four Data Stores that players need to power up to redirect the power to the Central Core at The Interchange to unlock the path to Windscale Plant and Oberon.
In short, you need the Data Store powered up to progress the main quest.
While it is a relatively easy task, many players don’t know how to get inside the Data Store Bravo.
Why?
Because they try to reach it via the main area that they can access after unlocking the Robotics section.
Some players who do manage to get inside the Data Store Bravo find it hard to unlock the Storage Room.
Seeing that, I prepared this complete, detailed guide on how to power up Data Store Bravo and unlock Storage Room in Atomfall.
How to reach and unlock Data Store Bravo in Atomfall
You can access the Data Store Bravo via the Skethermoor Interchange.
For those of you who don’t know where to find the Skethermoor Interchange, I have highlighted its location in the above map screenshot.
Its entrance is located in the heavily guarded Protocol Camp area at 39.6E, 73.1N.
There are two ways to get there:
- Fight your way through the Protocol Soldiers or run past them to the Interchange entrance and get inside to loose heat.
- If you are opting for this method, I recommend checking out my guide on early weapon locations to become overpowered and well equipped.
- Complete Captain Sims mission to get on his good side, which allows you to enter the Camp area.
Once you are inside the Skethermoor Interchange, you will find two Protocol Soldiers.
One, right in front of you, near the main counter.
The other one on your left.
You can take them out and either use the ladder in the lift or the path on the right side to get to the Interchange entrance.
Head inside.
Use the Modified Keycard at the console to open the Interchange main door.
Crawl through the Quarantine shutter.
Follow the path on the left side.
You will arrive at the Data Store Bravo.
How to power up Data Store Bravo in Atomfall
Similar to other Data Stores, you can power up the Data Store Bravo using an Atomic Battery.
Once you have one, follow the stairs leading to the lower levels, where you will find the Data Store Bravo Battery Terminal.
Interact with the Bravo Battery Terminal.
Select the Atomic Battery from your inventory.
And, that’s it.
In a few seconds, the entire area will be powered up!
How to get Atomic Battery in Atomfall
There are multiple ways to get Atomic Batteries in Atomfall.
- You can purchase them from NPC Vendors like Nora, Molly, and others.
- You can extract them from the BARD Robots.
- You can find them in the open world.
- You can get them from certain caches.
But since we are talking about powering up the Data Store Bravo, you can get the closest one from Nora, the NPC Vendor.
Talk to Nora inside her barn in Skethermoor and choose the Barter option.
Select the Atomic Battery and trade some items in exchange for it.
If you don’t have enough items to get the Atomic Battery from Nora or have already taken and used it in some other Data Store, don’t worry.
Just head outside her barn.
Make your way to the Lake at the above marked location.
You can find it on a broken BARD robot.
Overheating BARD Robots and extracting Atomic Batteries
Another easy way to get Atomic Battery is by taking down the different BARD robots and extracting the battery when they overheat.
Molly and Vicar Atomic Battery
In the starting region Slatten Dale, you can find Molly at the above marked location at the following coordinates: 26.4E, 79.0N.
Talk to her and exhaust her dialogues.
If you meet her for the first time, based on your dialogue choices, she will even hint you towards the Interchange’s location.
That said, select the Barter dialogue to enter the trade menu.
Molly likes Painkillers and Molotov Cocktails.
To get an Atomic Battery, you need at least three Molotovs.
If you don’t have them, I have a detailed guide on where to find a Molotov Cocktail Recipe so you can craft as many as you want.
Once you obtain the Atomic Battery from Molly, carefully listen to her dialogues.
She will tell you that she had one more Atomic Battery that she sold to the Vicar, whom you can find inside the church at Wyndham Village.
It will also trigger a lead called Atomic Batteries.
So if you have already gotten and used the Atomic Battery from Molly, you can get another one from the Vicar.

How to unlock Date Store Bravo Storage Room in Atomfall
To unlock the Storage Room at Data Store Bravo, you need the Signal Redirector.
If you don’t have it, you can find one inside the Security room where Dr. Garrow is held inside the Protocol Prison in Skethermoor.
Or you can get one from the Windfall Cache.
Now, assuming you have the Signal Redirector, get the Data Store B Store Room Key from the dead body near the Storage Room.
Now, equip the Signal Redirector and use it on the junction found right above the dead body.
Head to the Storage Room and follow the yellow cable coming from the right side.
You will find another junction.
Use the Signal Redirector to direct the power to the Storage Room.
Now, use the Data Store B Store Room Key at the card panel to unlock the Data Store Bravo Storage Room.
Loot the documents, ammo, and other loot.
Also, make sure to get the BARD Crate, as it offers some lucrative items.
