The Water Purifier System is one of the three remaining key infrastructures of Westport that you must sabotage to convince Vigilant Hogarth to defect to Auntie’s Choice and move to Fairfields.

It is a part of The Brain Benders of Auntie’s Choice side quest and holds a lot of significance, as your choices change the fate of the NPCs at Westport.

So with that said, here’s my guide on where to find this Water Purifier System in The Outer Worlds 2.

Where to find Westport Water Purifier in The Outer Worlds 2

You can find the Westport Water Purifier in a restricted area located in the northwest part of the area at the above player icon location.

There are two bots in the area that you must either sneak past or defeat to get to the Westport Water Purifier.

Killing the bots will not affect your Protectorate Faction experience. So choose whatever option you like.

Make your way towards the Water Purifier. The structure I have marked in the above screenshot.

How to sabotage the Westport Water Purifier in The Outer Worlds 2

To sabotage the Westport Water Purifier, examine it by pressing the interact button.

You will get two options:

1. Add Skin Powder to the purifier
2. Dismantle the purifier coupling

The first option is available to all players, no matter which skills you excel at. So use it to sabotage the purifier.
