Blue Fingers is one of the essential skills that players must learn in Atomfall to harvest blue plants to get Spores.
For players who don’t know, Spores are one of the key ingredients required to craft the Strange Tonic.
Well! What is this Strange Tonic?
It is a consumable item that you need to survive the blue infection in Data Store Alpha and other locations.
And you also need it for progress The Bakery side quest.
But the problem is, to learn a skill in Atomfall, you must find and learn its corresponding manual.
Since the game doesn’t tell you which one unlocks the Blue Finger skill and where you can find it, players often find it hard to unlock the skill.
In the wake of that, I prepared this detailed guide on how you can get and use the Blue Finger skill in Atomfall.

How to get Blue Fingers skill in Atomfall
You can unlock the Blue Fingers skill in the game by learning the Consumables Manual.
Once you do that, you will get access to the Blue Fingers skill along with two others.
These are:
- Gut Health
- Food consumables also grant a damage resistance buff.
- Buff Duration
- Effects from consumables last longer.
Once you have said manual learned, head to the Skills section.
Assuming you have two Training Stimulants, you can select Blue Fingers and learn it.
Where to get the Consumables Manual in Atomfall
There are two different ways that I found during my playthrough for obtaining the Consumables Manual in Atomfall.
- Collect it from the locked room on the first floor of the Wyndham Village Bakery. [You require the Bakery Key that you can find at the Old Forge Garage building.]
- You can barter it from Billy Gorse in Casterfell Woods. [Billy is the Trader in the region.]
Wyndham Village Bakery
Assuming you have collected the Bakery Key, head to The Bakery building found at the following coordinates: 33.4E, 80.2N in Wyndham Village.
Go inside the bakery and past the door behind the counter.
Take the stairs to the reach first floor and open the room on the left side using the key.
Collect and learn the Consumables Manual from the table.
Casterfell Woods Trader
You can find Billy in the northwest part of the Casterfell Woods.
He is near the Casterfell Woods Dam, where you might have visited for an Atomic Battery required to power up the different Data Stores within The Interchange.
Talk to Billy.
Exhaust all of his dialogues and select the Barter option.
Select the Consumables Manual and barter it for some of the items in your inventory.
How to use Blue Fingers skill in Atomfall
As I mentioned earlier, you can use the Blue Finger skill to harvest Spores from the mutated plant monsters and the regular blue plants.
Just go near the blue plant and press the interact button.
Usually, you would get +2 Spores with each harvest.
Though, I found that, sometimes, you also get just one Spore.
