When is Wuthering Waves first anniversary, and what rewards are we going to get? This is one of the most common questions the WuWa community has been asking, and I am here to talk about it.
For players who forgot or the new ones, Wuthering Waves was officially released on PC, Android, and iOS platforms on May 22, 2024.
Almost a year later, on January 2, 2025, the game arrived on the PlayStation 5 platform.
That said, the game is finally nearing its first anniversary.
And since developer Kuro Games is known for rewarding players with premium rewards for every little reason, the entire Wuthering Waves community is looking forward to the first anniversary.
So, when is it?
Wuthering Waves first anniversary
Wuthering Waves’ first official anniversary falls on May 22, 2025, with the anniversary update releasing on April 29th or 30th, depending on your region.
The anniversary falls within the span of the version 2.3 update, and as confirmed by Kuro Games through the livestream broadcast sneak peek, it will be celebrated within the same update.
So what does that mean?
It means all the free anniversary-related rewards or events will be available during the version 2.3 update.
What rewards can you expect from Wuthering Waves’ first anniversary
At the time of writing, we only know that there will be a free Glider Skin that players can get as a part of the first-anniversary free rewards.
Other than that, while it is not yet confirmed, since we are getting two new five-star Resonators, namely Zani and Ciaccona, some are expecting the latter to be given for free.
Moreover, we can also expect free pulls as we get that even with normal updates.
Kuro Games will be revealing the complete details on version 2.3 and the anniversary rewards and everything associated with it on April 19, 2025, at 19:00 (UTC+8) on YouTube via the official livestream.
