While the past few new characters we got in the game were mainly suited for the Support role, whether the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Resonator, Shorekeeper, or Zhezhi, Camellya is a DPS unit.
Her character kit revolves around dealing Havoc DMG, which is considered a Basic ATK DMG, making the latter stat the key focus of the build.
That said, ever since Camellya first appeared in the game during the main story, players have been hyped up for her release.
Now that she is finally getting her banner in the version 1.4 update, many in the Wuthering Waves community are looking forward to main’ing her.

Wuthering Waves Camellya best build
Camellya’s main abilities, like the Resonance Skill, Valse of Bloom and Blight, Resonance Liberation, Fervor Efflorescent, and Forte Circuit, Vegetative Universe, all primarily scale with Basic ATK DMG.
As a result, the primary stat apart from the CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG I am focusing on in this build is Basic ATK DMG.
Moreover, we will also improve Havoc DMG since Camellya is a Havoc attribute user.
That being said, Camellya has a multi-layered ability with multiple modes and versions, like any other character in the game.
For example, her Resonance Skill, Valse of Bloom and Blight, attacks the target dealing Havoc DMG, considered Basic ATK DMG.
But after that, she enters the Blossom Mode!
Here comes the neat part: Camellya cannot move in Blossom Mode as she is suspended in vines.
But:
- Her Basic ATK and Heavy ATK – Pruning are replaced by Basic ATK – Vining Waltz, chaining together four consecutive attacks and dealing Havoc DMG considered as Basic ATK DMG.
- When performing Vining Waltz 3, hold the Normal Attack Button to cast Blazing Waltz, which deals Havoc DMG, before automatically performing Vining Waltz 4.
- Dodge Counter is replaced by Dodge Counter Atonement.
- Perform Normal Attack right after a successful Dodge to attack the target, dealing Havoc DMG considered as Basic ATK DMG.
- Resonance Skill is replaced by Resonance Skill – Floral Ravage.
- Casting Floral Ravage deals Havoc DMG considered Basic ATK DMG.
- Resonance Skill Floral Ravage can be cast in mid-air.
- Blossom Mode ends after casting Resonance Skill Floral Ravage.
- Blossom Mode ends after using the Levitator.
- Jump is replaced with Basic Attack – Vining Ronde.
- Jump to attack the target at the cost of stamina, dealing Havoc DMG considered as Basic ATK DMG. This ends Blossom Mode.
- Using Basic ATK – Vining Waltz, Basic ATK – Blazing Waltz, and Basic ATK -Vining Ronde in mid-air consumes stamina.
- Casting Resonance Skill – Floral Ravage in mid-air does not restore stamina.
- Consume stamina continuously to stay suspended on the vines.
So, if you just break down her Resonance Skill, you will find there are different versions of Basic ATK, each with its own DMG multiplier and unique animation.
Understanding each of these mechanics will play a vital role in fully utilizing Camellya as a Havoc DPS unit.
The next skill we must understand is Camellya’s Forte Circuit, Vegetative Universe.
To make it simpler, let me break it down into three different parts: the main Forte Circuit skill, Ephemeral, Budding Mode, and Crimson Pistil stacks and how they affect other abilities.
You can use Camellya’s Forte Circuit skill, Ephemeral, by pressing the Resonance Skill button when Concerto Energy is fully recovered and Ephemeral is not on Cooldown.
When you cast Ephemeral, you consume the Concerto Energy to deal Havoc DMG to the targets, which is considered the Basic ATK DMG again.
Moreover, at the end of it, you enter the Budding Mode!

These are then used for casting Ephemeral skills and gaining the extra DMG from the Sweet Dream mechanic.
Lastly, when it comes to Resonance Liberation skill, it is very simple as when you cast it, Camellya will attack the target dealing Havoc DMG. No multi-layered mechanics!

Its weapon skill at R1 increases ATK by 12%, and while dealing Basic ATK DMG, the wielder gains a 12% Basic ATK DMG Bonus for 12s.
Moreover, you can trigger this effect once per second, stacking up to 5 times.
The Signature Weapons have always been tailored towards the character kit of the Resonators, and the same is true for Camellya.
However, there are also many other weapons that work well on her, such as the Emerald of Genesis, Blazing Brilliance, and Lumingloss.
Best Echoes and Echo Sets for Camellya in Wuthering Waves
The best Echo Set for Camellya is Sun-sinking Eclipse, which focuses on improving the Havoc DMG by a great amount.
Sadly, while we do have Echo Sets like Lingering Tunes that help in improving ATK%, there are no sets that mainly focus on Basic ATK DMG.
