Wuthering Waves developers Kuro Games took it to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal the next-in-line character for their upcoming version 2.2 update—Cantarella!
Cantarella was officially revealed on February 20, 2025, along with basic lore-related details about her weapon of choice and Element was revealed a day later, on February 21, 2025.
As a playable Resonator, Cantarella is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Havoc element user and a Rectifier wielder.
As for who is Cantarella in the game, Kuro Games have already shared that over socials:
The Fisalia family’s thirty-sixth head, Cantarella Fisalia. She locks your gaze with eyes as deep as the ocean, where dark tides seem to surge and swirl. For a moment, you think you glimpse something in the ocean’s depths—but you are unsure if it is the shadow of a giant sea creature… or the tail feathers of the Celestial Steed.
We also got to see a quote from Catarella herself:
The current head of Fisalia, Cantarella, the Bane. Whether I am the Bane of the wicked or the pure is yours to decide.
Catarella’s character design is more than enough to convince me to pull her when her banner goes live during the version 2.2 update.
What about you? Will you all be pulling her when her banner is live?
