It’s October, the month of Halloween, and with that, we are getting a brand new Halloween event called Blood Pact in Apex Legends that adds a creepy version of Kings Canyon to the game, where you play as a Demon or Beast, use their Wildcards, defeat other teams to unlock new powers, and eventually win.
Along with the new event, there are tons of new cosmetics, bundles, and more. And of course, event challenges and rewards.

Blood Pact event schedule
In Apex Legends, the Blood Pact event goes live on Tuesday, October 13, and runs through November 3, the end of the current season.

The Blood Pact event will add a ton of new cosmetics and bundles to the Store, along with Thematic Packs that you can open for a chance to get the new skins.
And, like we have been seeing recently, the new skins are for characters like Alter and Sparrow. LIKE SERIOUSLY? Can we get new stuff for others too?

Blood Pact event mode overview
In the Apex Legends Blood Pact event, once you start the game via Game Modes, you get to choose between two factions:
- Demons
- Beasts
Each faction has its own Wildcards, which you can unlock as you play by completing challenges during rounds.
These challenges focus on dealing a certain amount of damage, knocking enemies, etc.
So, the general gameplay loop is -> Hop into Kings Canyon, choose your faction or side -> Focus on challenges to unlock Wildcards -> Find the haunted buildings, glowing Nessies, and frights around the map (optional) -> Win.
Blood Pact event: Demons and Beasts Wildcards
Here are the Wildcards you can unlock during any match while playing as a Beast:
- Evasive Maneuvers: When weapons are stowed, move faster and gain Double Jump
- Fast Draw: Reload weapons and use shield cells faster
- Critical Roll: Grants temporary critical hits on reload
Here are the Wildcards you can unlock during any match while playing as a Demon:
- Speedy Charge: Tactical and Ultimate charge faster
- Shields Up: Epic-level shields
- Super Cells: Cells regenerate all shield health
Which side should you choose? Demon or Beast
Each faction has its own benefit. If you are someone who heavily relies on your Legend’s Tactical or Ultimate, the Demon faction would be a better fit for you.
For players who like aggressive play, the Beast faction is the right pick. If you ask me, I will be playing as a Beast.
