Free Bird is one of the new trophies added to Ghost of Yotei’s long list of trophies with the Echoes of Sekigahara DLC.
While it is quick and easy to unlock and most players do unlock it right after reaching the Ashoro Foothills region, some players still miss it.

Unlocking the Free Bird trophy
In Ghost of Yotei, you can unlock the Free Bird trophy by freeing the bird locked in the small unnamed camp at the marked location above.
Head there and defeat the Vipers.
Once done, go to the Cage and interact with it to free the bird.
Once done, you will unlock the Free Bird trophy.
