If you want to hop into The Dark Horizon DLC but don’t know which Class you should play as. Then don’t worry! I’m here with recommendations on the best Archetype for The Dark Horizon DLC in Remnant 2.
Remnant 2 features an expansive roster of Archetypes, aka Classes, each with unique active, passive, and ultimate skills suitable for specific roles.
If you take every Archetype released so far, excluding the Warden Class that you can get from The Dark Horizon DLC, there are thirteen different Archetypes.
Deciding which one to play is slightly confusing, and to help you make that decision, I am here to discuss it in this best Archetype for The Dark Horizon DLC in Remnant 2.
The best Class or Archetype playing The Dark Horizon DLC in Remnant 2

When it comes to the best Class to play Remnant 2’s The Dark Horizon DLC, it depends on whether you are planning on playing the game solo or with friends, or in an Online Session.
If you are planning to play The Dark Horizon DLC solo, the next question is whether you have unlocked all the different Archetypes, including the DLC ones.

For players starting fresh and wanting to tackle the DLC content solo, I recommend choosing the Gunslinger or Handler Class.
The Handler Class is perfect for solo players as your companion dog can not only revive you when you are downed but also take the aggro from enemies, allow you to deal more damage, and even engage in combat.
On the other hand, if you want to shred your enemies and are looking for the best DPS or burst DPS Archetype, running the Gunslinger or Hunter Class for the DLC is the best choice.
Remember that you can equip another Class once you accumulate 10 Trait Points in your current Class.
I would personally recommend going for any of the following combo:
- Gunslinger – Hunter
- Gunslinger – Alchemist
- Gunslinger – Invader
- Hunter – Invader
- Ritualist – Challenger
- Hunter – Ritualist

I will use the Gunslinger – Invader or the Alchemist Dual Class build for my playthrough. Now, the question is, what should players playing with their friends select? Once again, it totally depends on what type of player you are and what role you want to take.

If you like the Tank role, go with the Challenger Class for the DLC; if you like DPS, go with a Hunter, Gunslinger, or any other; and if you like the Support role, go with the Medic Class or the Alchemist or Invoker for buffing allies.
So, which Class will you select for playing The Dark Horizon DLC?
