If you are looking forward to playing Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon DLC but are confused about whether you must complete the old DLCs, The Forgotten Kingdom and The Awakened King, this guide is all you need as it answers the looming question.
For players who don’t know, The Dark Horizon is the last paid DLC in the trio of DLCs, which will offer a brand new Archetype, The Warden, an overhauled N’Erud with a lot, like a lot of verticality with tons of hidden dungeons and locations, new Storyline, items and weapons, and a lot more.
So, if you’re confused about whether you need to purchase the old DLCs, here’s my article answering that.
Are The Forgotten Kingdom and The Awakened King DLCs to play The Dark Horizon DLC in Remnant 2

No! Following the footsteps of the previous DLCs, the third and last paid DLC for Remnant 2 will not require old DLCs. All you need is the base game and The Dark Horizon DLC, priced at $9.99. That’s it!
Once you purchase The Dark Horizon DLC, the nuanced N’Erud map will be added to the level roster. While playing the Campaign, you can randomly get it or select to play the DLC directly using Adventure Mode.
Gunfire Games’ implementation of DLC access in Remnant 2 is excellent for everyone. For someone like me who played the base game for hours and then never touched it, going through the previous two DLCs on an immediate basis would have felt more like a chore.
So, if you want to play at your own pace, you can play the base game and then all the DLCs individually or directly access The Dark Horizon and start your experience in N’Erud.
That is everything you need to know about whether you need the old DLCs to play Remnant 2 The Dark Horizon DLC. If the article helped, please consider buying me a Coffee to help me make more content. You can also share the guide with your friends or leave a comment.
