Borderlands 4 has three different editions, starting from $69.99 and going up to $129.99. And while the regular players already know which edition they should be getting, we’ve some new players who are confused about which Borderlands 4 edition they should buy. Well! Don’t worry. All Borderlands 4 editions and everything they offer
As I mentioned earlier, Borderlands 4 has three different editions. These are:
- Standard Edition: $69.99
- Deluxe Edition: $99.99
- Super Deluxe Edition: $129.99
Everything that you get in Borderlands 4 Standard Edition
As the name suggests, in the Standard Edition, all you get is the game.
However, if you pre-order the game, irrespective of the Edition, you get the Gilded Glory Pack, which includes 1 Vault Hunter Skin for all four Vault Hunters.
A weapon skin and an Echo-4 Drone Skin. BUT, only if you pre-purchase the game.
Everything that you get in Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition features two major content packs:
- Bounty Pack Bundle
- Firehawk’s Fury

- 4 unique areas, featuring new missions and unique bosses
- 4 Vault Cards with unique challenges and rewards
- New gear and weapons
- New Vault Hunter cosmetics
- 4 New vehicles with new cosmetics

Apart from the above content, if you pre-purchase the game, you also get the Gilder Glory Pack.
The main highlight of the Deluxe Edition is the Bounty Pack Bundle, which includes post-launch DLC content.

The Super Deluxe Edition includes everything the game has to offer, even post-launch.
In short, players with Super Deluxe Edition will not have to worry about buying post-launch DLCs, as everything is included as a part of the edition and can be directly downloaded and accessed once it launches.
That being said, the main highlight of the Super Deluxe Edition is the Vault Hunter Pack.

Which Borderlands 4 edition is worth the money?
First of all, when it comes to purchases, opinions, needs, and expectations differ from person to person.
If you are someone who wants to experience everything that Borderlands 4 has to offer and is not worried about the price, the Super Deluxe Edition is the best option for you.
But from my point of view, and someone who has played every game in the franchise multiple times with thousands of hours spent on each game, purchasing the Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions makes no sense.
Hear me out.
Everything that you get in the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Edition is post-launch. And so far, we don’t know what the scale of that content will be.
If you have played Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you would know that the special editions were definitely not worth the money, as the DLCs were disappointing and very short at the same time.
And while some say that you save money on purchasing the Deluxe or Special Deluxe Editions compared to separate DLC purchases, that is simply not true.
So, for now, I highly recommend players to get the Standard Edition, wait until the DLCs are out, check whether the content offered in them is worth your money, and then purchase them separately.
But, once again, if money is not the issue, you can go with the Super Deluxe Edition.
