Borderlands 4’s Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions has a secret ‘sort of’ activity that players can complete as they progress the mission to earn a ton of extra loot at the end of the quest; it is finding cages around the map and freeing Ripper NPCs.
Just like the Zane Tokens in Bounty Pack 3, which unlocked extra loot via chests, and the Security Cameras in the Takedown at Hadron Abyss, which unlocked the security room with multiple chests, freeing the NPCs is completely optional.
But for players who like extra loot, I’ve shared the exact locations of the cages and the NPCs below.

During my first run, I found more cage locations. But with subsequent runs, those cages vanished from those locations. Still, I have shared them below.
