Looking for the cat paws spawn locations in the Kowakujō map in Black Ops 7 Zombies? I’ve got you covered with this guide.
For players who don’t know, spawning the cat paws and then using the Maneki-Neko Grenade is one of the key steps of building the Nekomancer Wonder Weapon, which you eventually need for the Kowakujō main quest easter egg.
To get to this step, you must first find three items needed for crafting the Maneki-Neko Grenade.
This includes: the Furin, aka the Bell, the Maneki-Neko doll, and the Karakuri doll.
After that, you must collect and throw Nekomata inside the cage into the burning Lava. Once done, you can start with the next step, which involves the cat paw prints.
Where to craft the Maneki-Neko Grenade
You can craft the Maneki-Neko Grenade at the table found at the above-marked location.
Head there once you have:
- The Furin
- Maneki-Neko
- Karakuri
Assuming you have the three items, you will get the option to craft the Maneki-Neko.
Once crafted, collect it. It will replace your tactical.
Where to find Nekomata
You can find Nekomata inside a cage hanging at the above-marked location near the big Sakura tree.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the cage is high, and to collect it, you must use the PhD Flopper near it.
Collect the Nekomata cage and head to any Lava.
Throw the cage inside the Lava and advance the round to start hunting for Nekomata paw prints.
All Nekomata paw prints spawn locations in the Kowakujō map
Here are all four cat paw print spawns:

The first Nekomata paw print is located at the marked location above.
Head there. It spawns near the doorway once you defeat a few zombies there.
So what you must do is take out a dozen zombies when they are standing right at the doorway.
If the paw prints don’t spawn, move to the next location.

The second Nekomata paw print is located at the marked location above.
Once again, defeat a dozen zombies near the doorway. If the paw prints don’t spawn, move to the next location.

The third Nekomata paw print is located at the marked location above.
Repeat the same steps as above.

The fourth and final Nekomata paw print is located at the marked location above.
Repeat the above steps.
If you do it correctly, you will be able to spawn the Nekomata paw prints.
What to do after Nekomata paw print spawns?
Once you spawn the first paw prints, you must stand before where the paws are directing and defeat another dozen zombies while they are on the paw prints.
Doing so should spawn the next paw prints, which spawns in the direction of the first paw print.
If you aren’t able to spawn the next paw prints, defeat zombies near the first paw prints in the area. You should spawn the next prints.
Keep repeating until the final paw prints spawn and form a sort of circle. That is your cue. Throw the Maneki-Neko Grenade within the circle to spawn an Abomination. Make sure it’s a Lava round, which means Lava is not solidified.
