For players who don’t know, Destiny Rising features a multitude of playable characters with different rarities and skills.
Each of these characters comes under a different archetype, which governs what category of weapons they can use and, of course, their abilities.
Yes! Unlike the main Destiny games, where the Lightbearers could use any weapon in their different weapon slots, Destiny Rising takes a nuanced approach.
While you can share weapons between heroes that come under the same archetype, there are some restrictions and such things, which makes it important to know about the best heroes.
Plus, Destiny Rising is a gacha game with a massive roster of playable characters and weapons.
I had to make a tier list for it.
So without any further ado, here’s my Destiny Rising tier list.

Destiny Rising PvE tier list
For PvE, I have ranked the heroes based on their DPS output, crowd control, buffs and debuffs they offer, solo survivability, etc.
Heroes who excel at their respective roles, like Healing, Support, Tank, etc, are also placed higher in the rankings.

Best character for PvE in Destiny Rising
While Wolf is a great overall balanced character who excels in both PvE and PvP, I personally like using Gwynn.
That said, if you like aggressive play, the best character for PvE for you is Xuan Wei.
Maru is also great for Raids and such activities.
And if you like summon-based characters, for PvE, the best character for you is Estela.

For PvP, I have ranked characters who are good at single-target DPS, have great survivability, and a good skill uptime.

Best character for PvP in Destiny Rising
The best character for PvP in Destiny Rising is Tan-2.
While heroes like Wolf and Estela also do well in PvP, Tan-2’s raw single-target damage is what makes him a great PvP choice.
