Whether you are looking for the complete list of rewards that you can get for the Mothman Equinox 2025 event in Fallout 76 or want to know how to start and complete it to get the best rewards, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
The Mothman Equinox event is finally back! This time, with a new reward.
For players who don’t know or who are new to the game, the Mothman Equinox is a Seasonal Event in Fallout 76.
It was first introduced in the Night of the Moth update that was released on all platforms back in December 2021.
Since then, we have been getting Mothman Equinox events every now and then with a wide pool of rewards that include some of the best Plans for items we get from any event.
With that said, here’s my complete walkthrough for the Mothman Equinox event in Fallout 76, along with the complete list of rewards that you can obtain from it.
How to start the Mothman Equinox event in Fallout 76

The Mothman Equinox is a Public event, and thus, there is no way to manually trigger it.
Other than the fact that you can keep server hopping until you are in the world where the event is live.

As for the event frequency, the Mothman Equinox event goes live every 1 hour.

Speak to Interpreter Clarence and listen to instructions

In this part of the quest, all you have to do is head to the Point Pleasant POI where the Mothman Equinox event takes place.

Once you arrive there, make your way to the Mothman Museum’s roof.

There, you will find the NPC named Interpreter Clarence.
Talk to him and exhaust his dialogues, triggering the event.
In the next step, Clarence will give you instructions. Just wait for him to end his talk.
Prepare for the ritual

The objective in the event requires you to prepare for the ritual to summon the wise one.
You can do this by:
- Destroying the Vines of Containment around each Pyre (0/3)
- Killing Cultist Prophets (0/6)
- Collecting and depositing Albino Radstag Blood in Blood Troughs (0/15)
- Destroying Totems of Warding (0/10)
The Vines of Containment spawn around the Ritual Pyres at the above marked locations.
One is in the Church, the other one near the bridge and the last one in the Waterside area.
Head there and shoot or melee the Vines of Containment around the pyres to progress.
As for Cultist Prophets, they spawn near the pyres in the event area.
For Albino Radstag Blood, you can kill the Albino Radstag that spawns near the Ritual Pyres, especially near the Waterside and Bridge area.
Once done, loot their body to get Albino Radstag Blood.
You can then deposit the Albino Radstag Blood in the Blood Troughs that are found all around the event area.
Also, around two of these Blood Troughs are near each Ritual Pyre and are hard to miss.
For the last step, head to the rooftops, and you will be easily able to spot the Totems of Warding.
Light pyres

This is the easiest part of the event, as all you have to do is interact with the Ritual Pyres.
Defend the Ritual Pyres
In this section of the Mothman Equinox event, you must protect the Ritual Pyres located at the Church, Waterside, and Bridge.
Whenever a Ritual Pyre is about to get attacked for the first time, you will get a text notification.
So quickly head to the mentioned Ritual Pyre and defend it.
Church Ritual Pyre

The first wave of enemies attack the Ritual Pyre located inside the Church.

Head there and protect it.
Bridge Ritual Pyre

The second wave of enemies attack the Bridge area Ritual Pyre. Defend it.
Waterside Ritual Pyre

The final wave of enemies attacks the Waterside Ritual Pyre.
Note
Depending on how many Ritual Pyres you manage to protect of the three, you will have a higher or lower chance of obtaining the event Plans.
Perform merriment atop the Mothman Museum

In this part of the event, all you must do is head to the Mothman Meuseum’s roof.

Once you are there, perform some emotes and you will be able to progress and complete the event.
