That said, the Severed Arm is hidden behind a series of steps and puzzles that players must solve.
Without proper details, obtaining it is a daunting task at which most players fail as they don’t know what to do.

How to get the Severed Arm in Shattered Veil map in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You can get the Severed Arm key item as a drop upon defeating the Doppelghast located in the Service Tunnel area.
However, to defeat the Doppelghast, you must first unlock the door using the keypad found on the right side of the locked room to let him out.
And to get the passcode required for unlocking the door, you must first follow the following steps:
Step 1: Progress the main quest until the point where you unlock the Mainframe Chamber and the access to Shattered Veil’s Pack-A-Punch machine.
Step 2: Once you are in the Mainframe Chamber, the next goal is to obtain the Floppy Disk from the Lab Technician Zombie.
Step 3: After that, you must head to the East Foyer room and use the Floppy Disk on the computer to get the Protocol Code required for solving the Nursery room alphabet puzzle.
Solving the puzzle will give you the code required to open the Doppelghast’s cage.

Once you have the password, head to the above marked location in the Mainframe Chamber where you will find SAM.
Unlock the big white door to access the Service Tunnel area.
Right past the door, you will find the locked Doppelghast and a keypad on the right side.
Interact with the keypad and enter the obtained code.
Once the cage opens, kill the Doppelghast.
Doing so will drop the Severed Arm right after the Doppelghast explodes.
Tips
Having a +2 Pack-A-Punched weapon allows you to take out the target a lot easier. But even a +1 Pack-A-Punched weapon is fine.
Where to use the Severed Arm in the Shattered Veil map
You can use the Severed Arm to unlock the glass pannel hiding the Ray Gun Mark II inside the Shattered Veil’s Armory.
The Armory is located at the above marked location in the Supply Depot area.
To reach the Armory’s location, from the Doppelghast cage, follow the path on the right side.
Unlock the door on the left side of the dead end, and you will arrive at the Supply Depot area.
The Armory is on the right side.
Head inside the Armory and interact with the Hand Scanner right of the locked Ray Gun Mark II.
Doing so will use the Severed Arm and unlock the glass door.
Collect the Ray Gun Mark II.
