To collect the rewards, all you must do is follow the Phantom and the trailer.

Where to find the Happy Holidays Hauler in GTA Online
The Phantom and the Trailer and the Happy Holidays Hauler random event, in particular, spawns at the Legion Square, at the above marked location.
The random event triggers every 60 minutes.
So if you have just joined a session, make sure to play for at least 60 minutes.
Keep an eye on the top left side of the game screen, as you will get the following notification:
The Phantom and the Trailer start from Legion Square, circle around the map, and return to the same location.
