If you want to play Bloodborne on PC or your Steam Deck with full multiplayer support, you can now, and in this guide, I’ll explain how.

PlayStation’s biggest missed opportunity, Bloodborne, finally has native PC support, plus DLC and multiplayer, thanks to the community that keeps improving the emulator.

The game also has DLSS and FSR support, unlocked FPS, better resolution and graphics settings, online play (as mentioned earlier), the ability to add the game on Steam, and much more.

With that said, here is how you can play Bloodborne on PC.

How to play Bloodborne on PC

To play Bloodborne on PC with native support and online play, you need three things:

  1. The Bloodborne PC emulator
  2. A PKG Extractor File like ShadPs4Plus PKG Extractor 1.1
  3. Bloodborne GOTY Prelude Edition with DLC and Patch 1.09 (or the latest, if you are reading this article after a newer patch is out).

Step 1. Downloading the Bloodborne PC emulator with native support

For this step, head to the Bloodborne PC emulator GitHub page and download the latest files.

Once you are on the GitHub page, check the Releases section. Click on the latest release.

In the Assets section, click Bloodborne Windows Zip to download the emulator.

Step 2. Downloading the Bloodborne game files

In this step, download the original Bloodborne game files, along with its DLC and the latest patch.

While I cannot share the download link here, you can find it on SuperPSX. So search for it and download the following:

  1. Game File
  2. Update 1.09
  3. DLC

The game files that you download are in PKG format. And that is why we need the PKG extractor.

Step 3. Downloading the PKG extractor file

To download the PKG extractor, head to its GitHub page and click on the Windows ZIP file to download it.

Step 4. Installing Bloodborne on PC

Now that you’ve downloaded all files, extract the Bloodborne PC file you downloaded from GitHub.

After that, extract the PKG extractor file. Now, drag the three game files (base game + DLC + update files) to the PKG extractor folder.

Drag each game file into the PKG extractor exe one by one to extract it.

Once done, you will have three extracted folders.

Copy the contents of the DLC and patch folders into the base game folder. Then copy the game folder into the Bloodborne PC folder.

Now use the Bloodborne.exe file to open the game launcher. Set the graphics and other settings that you want to use. Play the game.

That sums up my guide on how to play the native PC version of Bloodborne. If you are stuck at any step, let me know via comments.
