For players who don’t know, the Corroded Cipher Machine is the second of the three Cipher Machines that you can find in the Overture DLC.
Similar to the first one, the Bloody Cipher Machine, you must find and take the Corroded Cipher Machine to Alidoro and locate the location in the decrypted image.
As simple as it sounds, there are a few new players who find it hard to complete as they are unable to locate the area shown in the Corroded Cipher Machine.

How to get Corroded Cipher Machine in Lies of P Overture DLC
You can get the Corroded Cipher Machine by defeating the Elite enemy, the giant excavation machine that you encounter in the Ergo Mining Site area.
The Ergo Mining Site is the second Stargazer that you unlock in Chapter 3.
Lies of P Overture DLC Corroded Cipher Machine walkthrough
The Corroded Cipher Machine holds the truth about the Spider Cave.
Once you have it, teleport to the Eventide Hotel Krat.
Talk to Alidoro and select the first option, “Decrypt a cipher machine.”
After that, select the “Decrypt the Corroded Cipher Machine” option.
Alidoro will tell you about the Spider Cave and that something strange happened there.
Exhaust his dialogues!
Doing so will give you the Decoded Corroded Cipher Machine Text.
Read it. On the right side of the text, you will find the caved in entrance of the Spider Cave.
Now, teleport to the Ancient Ruins Excavation Site Stargazer.
Follow the main path and take the shortcut on the left side.
Once you are down the ladder, stick to the path on the left side.
At the end of the downward slope, on the right side, you will find the Spider Cave entrance.
Interact with it.
Now perform a heavy-charged attack to destroy the rocks.
Go inside and interact with the skeleton on the ground.

Once you do that, you will get the message, “A dark secret of Krat discovered. Can be reported to the Tracker.”
Head back to the Eventide Hotel Krat and talk to Alidoro.
Select the dialogue option, “Report on Krat’s dark secret.”
Now, select the option, “About the secret of the Spider Cave.”
That is it. Doing so will complete the Corroded Cipher Machine side quest and will reward you with an Ancient Disk as a reward.
You can use the Ancient Disk at Klaus to trade items.
