The Deep Vault is the endgame of the X01 map in MW4 DMZ, where you fight the new Lieutenant Blix.
It is a heavily guarded area with several Deep Vault locked doors that you can open using their respective keycards for additional high-tier loot.
You can also find Argonaut Armor for free, plus more, including the X01 Vault DRC Locker, which you can unlock with its key. Overall, you must know about Deep Vault, and this guide covers it all.
MW4 DMZ X01 Deep Vault full walkthrough
To enter the Deep Vault within the X01 map in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, you must first find and defeat The Captain. His icon appears on the map right after you enter a match.
He usually roams the Admin Offices and Tech Lab area. If you don’t find him there, you can search the Main Warehouses area.
Once you find him, defeat him to collect the Deep Vault 301 Keycard. So far, it is a guaranteed drop. Unless I have been lucky.
[I also think you can get the other Deep Vault locked-door keycards from The Captain. I will update on that once I find more details as I play.]
After you have the Deep Vault 301 Keycard. Head to the Deep Vault entrance. You can find it north of the Medical Wing, located right below the Admin Offices area.
Interact with the keypad to unlock the vault door.
Head inside and interact with the elevator in the middle.
Note: To exit the Vault, you must force open the left elevator from within the Deep Vault and use the zipline to get to the top, as the middle elevator won’t work once you enter the Vault.

On each floor of the Deep Vault, you will find locked rooms that you can open using their respective keycards.
The Deep Vault 301 room is on the second floor. That said, head to the top floor to start unlocking the Core Room.
There, you must fend off enemies in the area until the unlock progress is complete.
Once done, enter the Core Room. While you are at it, Blix will spawn. Fight and defeat him.
Note: Make sure to open the Deep Vault 301 door found at the marked location above as it holds great loot.
Defeat Blix, collect his Dog Tags and loot. If you have any orders objective in the area, complete it.
At the end of the room, on an armor rack, you will find the Argonaut Armor.
In the same room, you will find the X01 Vault DRC Locker. You can obtain its key from any locker or container as an RNG spawn.
