Don’t know how to access the new map X01, the former Russian GRANIT Arms facility, and a new underground Blacksite in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ mode? If so, I’ve got you covered with this guide.
For players who don’t know, X01 is a brand-new area in DMZ mode with its own Orders, plus new weapon blueprints, crafting materials, and more.
It is a DMZ story expansion added with MW4 Season 1, and you can access it via a particular elevator found in the existing Haijin map.
With that said, here is how you can get inside the new X01 area in MW4 DMZ.
How to access the X01 map in MW4 DMZ
In DMZ, you can access the new X01 map via the elevator found inside the building in the northwest part of the Haijin map, as marked in the screenshot above.
Once you spawn in the Haijin map, make your way to the marked location.
Move towards the big building, and you will see an icon appear on the screen. Head towards it.
Unlock the gate using the switch on the wall.

Head inside the room and then the elevator and interact with it to enter X01.
You will get a final notice on whether you want to enter X01. Confirm.
After a short loading screen, you will arrive at the near X01 area.
The enemies in X01 hit hard. So make sure you are prepared.
