If you are looking for the best meta class to play as in the different Scenarios in Once Human, I’ve got you covered with my class tier list guide.
As you may already know, the Once Human 2.0 update introduced a brand new Class system.
It was done to add a lot more build variety at the same time, allowing players to access certain unique abilities, tools, and skills based on their playstyle at the very beginning of the game.
Now, whenever you hop into a Scenario, before choosing your drop location, you are presented with a class selection screen.
And as we all know, when it comes to deciding the class you will be playing as, many players get confused and don’t know which to choose.
Now, while I have already discussed all classes and their core ability, talents, and starting items in Once Human, I decided to prepare this tier list, talking about the best meta class to play as while also ranking all classes under different tiers.
Once Human Class tier list

My Once Human classes tier list is based on my time with the game and with every class.
The most important ranking factor is each class’s unique skills and talents, and how they affect your performance in the game.

While I have kept the utility factor of each class in mind, the ranking is highly influenced by how each class improves the overall DPS, survivability, and farming Silos and bosses, etc.
With that said, here’s my Once Human classes tier list:
| Tier | Classes |
| S | Chef |
| A | Beastmaster |
| B | Gardener, Freelancer |
| C | – |
Best class to play as in Once Human

The Chef is by far the best class meta class to play as in Once Human, thanks to its core skill, Creative Cooking, but more importantly, it’s Talent called Glutton.

For players who don’t know, Glutton is one of the three Talents that the Chef class comes with that allows you to consume more food than normal to gain up to 2 food effects and 2 drink effects simultaneously.
Outright, it is the best Talent of all three classes as stacking food and drink buffs gives a massive boost to your DPS and even other things like movement, defense, etc.

Moreover, the Glutton skill is further complemented by another Talent of the Chef class called Culinary Perfection.
So what it does do?
Well! It allows you to enhance the dish and ingredient effects and durations when you keep consuming the same dish.
Overall, the Chef class gives you a massive boost of more than 50% to your damage to regular enemies, Great Ones, and Elites based on the food and drinks you stack.
The best fun class to play as in Once Human

When it comes to having fun, especially as a solo player, I would personally recommend going with the Beastmaster class.

While the Chef is no doubt the meta class in Once Human, the Beastmaster is a great class that gives you access to support and offense, and defense-based companions.

I mean, having a white wolf fight by your side and see him grow as you engage in more battles is a unique and fun experience.
That said, the Beastmaster is not only a fun class, but also the most versatile one.

If you lack defense, you can use Misha, the golden bear, for cover.
If you are tired of farming resources, Pongo, the green boar, is the one you should summon.
And if you want a trusty companion who can fight and grow alongside you, you can summon and use Shiro, the white wolf.
That concludes my Once Human classes tier list. If the article helped, please consider buying me a Coffee to help me create more content. You can also share the guide with your friends or leave a comment.
